Night and day difference after replacing old bulb
Edit: Died after a week. Will be returning it soon.My previous bulb (also non-OEM) had lasted me nine years. They either dim over time or outright explode, but it kept on going. I'd gotten so used to closing all the curtains and turning off all the lights, that I just thought it had always been that way, until I had a really difficult time making out details in a game which other players could easily see. I got this in the hopes that it might help a little bit. It installed smoothly (unlike my previous bulb where I had to shave off a little plastic), and, HOLY ____! It was like I had a whole new projector. I could see detail with all the lights in the room still on, and the color and clarity were amazing! Well worth the cost if yours is on the way out.
