Facile, robusto e pratico da usare

Das kleine Master Lock Zahlenschloss ist mit seinem braunen Lederbezug in erster Linie ein modisches Accessoire, das zu einer entsprechenden Tasche, Koffer oder Ähnlichem passend Verwendung findet, ohne den Sicherheitsfaktor in den Vordergrund zu stellen.Mit der dreistelligen Zahlenkombination, dem dünnen Bügelchen sowie der insgesamt recht filigranen Ausführung ist man von einem ernsthaften Schutz gegen jegliche Art von unerwünschtem Zugriff weit entfernt; lediglich ein Gelegenheitsdieb, der ansonsten einfach nur die Finger lang machen möchte, wird sich davon eventuell abschrecken lassen - mehr Schutz ist es wohl nicht.Aber genau für diesen modischen Zweck mit minimalem Schutzfaktor ist es tatsächlich sehr gut geeignet. Der Lederbezug mit seiner abgesetzten Naht sieht wirklich sehr hochwertig aus und ergänzt das Gesamtbild des zu schützenden Utensils recht stylisch - von daher meine Empfehlung!

Lo compré para una maleta vieja que tenía antes de viajar a EE.UU., pero finalmente no me hizo falta y lo utilicé en la mochila de cabina que llevé conmigo. El candado parece robusto, aunque no me convence mucho que la argolla no se introduzca mucho en el cuerpo de metal, sino que tan sólo queda "cerrado" por ese saliente que es lo único que lo tapa, no entra la argolla como tal dentro del cuerpo metálico como en los candados habituales.Por lo demás, de momento me ha funcionado, así que poco más puedo decir.

I've no idea how the thinn-ish metal 'loop' bit (shank?) is secured down the 'ole into which you push it, but once in place there it stays. The padlock as a whole is very solid and heavy, and the rotating numbers click into place very precisely. If you look at the top of the padlock, you will see that the shank has a bit of metal sticking out at its bottom end, and this notches into a fine groove on the body of the padlock. To change the combination, you rotate the shank so that this bit of sticking-out metal fits into a second fine groove placed at 90 degrees to the usual groove. If your finger strength is good enough, you just push the shank into this and down, hold it there, and change the combo. If you're not up to that, push it down then twist it a bit so the sticking-out bit is jammed underneath. Change the combo, then rotate the shank back and it will spring up so you can rotate it the way you want. It's easy and intuitive and takes longer to read about than to do :)
