Tailgate Assist Shock Struts Trunk Fit for Ford Ranger 2012-2018

This product is not worth the money, not even a week and it’s stripped it’s thread. Yet again anothe poor product that’s not fit for purpose.

Easy to fit and works a treat only thing is you must have the proper size hex bit to get the bolts off your truck boot and spray them up the night before with release agent

Although there were no fitting instructions it was very easy to fit going off the images in the item description. Unfortunately once fitted, I was unable to close the tailgate as the gas strut fowls on the cable connection. The strut did operate well however I have had to send this back as it is clearly not compatible with a 2016 Ford Ranger.

Not great, no instructions, we fitted it to my truck and the very next day I went to show my husband how good it was and it snapped. Returned and refunded. Thank you

This broke very quickly unfortunately

It arrived quickly but there were no instructions for fitting , looked at the picture to figure it out and discovered it does not fit luckily I have all the tools to redesign the bracket cut out a section and weld an extra bit on along with some washers to space it out , after 2 hrs of messing around with it it now fits and works great . If you purchase it find a competent mechanic to fit it
