Where to begin. Ok this is an amazing 60 inch Plasma HDTV which has unbelievable true vivid colours that are simply mouth watering in watching in SD (Standard Definition), I will get into HD (High Definition) Segment later. When you first turn on this beauty the setup is automatic, simplistic and rapid without you having to-do anything obviously providing that you connect everything up e.g. scart, hdmi's and the RF Ariel. It's got freeview & freeviewHD built in so that's ready to view straight out of the box. SD looks really good the blacks the contrast the colours are fabulous and truly turns everything you watch into a cinematic exciting experience.Now on too what you been waiting for The High Definition HD is without a doubt the most stunning I've seen in a long time on such a mammoth 60 inch screen. This baby delivers the full HD 1080p experience and you will be left sitting their saying I can't believe it for hours and hours and guess what I'm still saying it. Very important and cool the connectivity is 9/10 with component HD connectors such as Pr, Pb, Y Scart, Pc inputs, even a optical (shame it didn't have phono Left and Right but as you got optical in that's all you need to output sound from the TV. All most important not 1 not 2 not 3 but yes 4 HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface). PlayStation 3 when all connected up by a HDMI wire in the HDMI socket. It also has 2 USB ports which are essential now a days, plays most files as it has DivX built in that's all you need....However it can only play files 30 GB per piece which is odd, also very frustrating it Does NOT have the DTS support which was heart breaking for me but eventually i got over it, i did try and speak to someone who works within the R & D Dept but a firm ware update is not likely as its very expensive to posses a DTS licence and also not enough consumers were bothered enough... jus me and a few others I suppose.The movies on Blue-Ray played by the PS3 is simply amazing The Dark Knight, Batman Begins, Rambo 4, Avatar & Transformers on Blue-Ray to name but a few were viewed on this HDTV and oh my GOD I was truly amazed and the TV has many entertainment settings also to cater for your needs such as sports, cinema, game, THX and you can personally set your on settings on the various individual settings. When watching blue ray@24fps Frames per Second screen judder was noticed, however an update was issued and addressed. Movies are excellent and for the true movie buffs such as myself and others. This TV is 2D HD 1080P THX Certified & 3D HD 1080P THX Certified. No other TV as far as I'm aware has that.Now on to the HD gaming COD black ops, MGS4,Ninja Gaiden Sigma,Gran Turismo 5, Army Of Two: The 40th Day to name but a few are played and thoroughly tested on the system. The TV is a must for gamers. No blurring in fast sequences perfect precision and clarity on everything, Colours are just fantastic, every game you play with no discrepancies. GAMING LOOKS AMAZIN ON THIS. LG60PZ950T which is the version above this, no differences with regards to this true black filter, very very microscopic indeed. LG60PZ570T is more then adequate!!!3D has been thoroughly tested on this TV. Via PS3 as the player. Tron: Legacy 3D , Underwater Sea exploration IMAX 3D, Piranan 3D. In combination with the LG AG-S250 Active Shutter Glasses. Simply SPECTECULAR...ANOTHER FORM OF CINEMA IMMERSION INTO THE EXPERIENCE. Day time viewing found my eyes strained. 100 % annoying about the 3D and its TRUE, after 15-45 minutes, the glasses will loose sync and go OFF, ANNOYING, but it's of a touch of a button that they go on again so not too bad and I don't blame other people getting annoyed about this either... LG claims that's a safety feature that will activate to prevent potential eye strain, or if your head stays stationary for 20 minutes will go into power save mode! Can be tedious but as I said before a touch of a button, however other TV's don't do that. Don't be put off. The 3D experience is AMAZING, combine this with a surround system obviously to Complete the experience. In regards to 3D Gaming. Via PS3 as Console. Gaming COD Black Ops, Gran Turismo 5 and Crysis 2 is brilliant in 3D, Gaming Just got a whole lot better WOW see IT to believe IT...I got my HD Sony Vaio VGN-AR41S Laptop connected up via the HDMI and even that looks terrific on it .The maximum this TV can reproduce is 600 Hz, however when I'm on PS3 and i press the info button on TV remote it says1080p@60Hz? Why doesn't it say 600Hz. The TV has many settings to cater for all of your needs and technology as well as energy saving technology. Sky & Formula 1 has sponsored this TV for its quality, technology and 3D capability. That's saying a HELL OF ALOT!!!This plasma 60 Inch HDTV delivers in Standard Definition (SD) TV, Movies Gaming all in SD delivers very very well. This TV IN HIGH DEFINTION HD & 3D HD delivers the dreams of ultimate entertainment more then you could even imagine seriously your left blown away, this review maybe thorough but I am unable to describe the quality that it delivers. SUPERB ;-)The exterior look of this TV is sleek and sexy in design all in a piano black finish that goes nicely together with you PS3 all in the same finish. The edge and rim of the TV is very thin, no chunky frame business, razor thin. Bloody heavy to carry though!!!, was not pleasant going up a couple of flights of stairs very unpleasant indeed. Also be careful when holding the TV of course with your MATE cheers Martin for helping me carry it up, as it is virtually rimless, nearly pushed fingers into the screen which you don't want to-do. The TV comes with a stand which also is able to swivel and rotate by 20 degrees left and right which is an added bonus. A nice remote control with a similar finish and has many buttons to interface with the systems many features.
