Esschert DesignSnail Shaped Ceramic Slug Trap, Green

I just find this so darling around my plants. Who doesn’t like cute and functional.

It works well and looks ornamental in my flower bed. I used half a can of beer in it, and the next day I poured out 11 dead slugs. It rinsed out easily and was ready to use again. It seems very durable, and I expect to get many years use out of it. I'm buying another for my small vegetable garden.

This item was in a box but was then thrown into a envelope. It wasn't marked fragile, as it should have been. It was broken when I received it. I think it would have been cute and the rating would have been much higher had it been packaged properly. Very disappointed.

This thing is so cute. I wish it were deeper, but that's my only qualm. I'm not sure if it works with killing slugs since it isn't very deep and the slugs can just crawl right back out I think, but it looks nice in the garden anyway.

Slugs have been eating my hostas. This looks better than beer in a metal pie tin and works as well.

Worked great, just a little annoying to change every day. If you don't the beer gets moldy.

These snails are GREAT! Additionally, they are adorable as yard art. I have two and would love to have more, but I'm afraid I would run out of beer to fast!!! :)

It really works! Much nicer than the plastic traps which have to be placed in the soil. The green slugs look cute and they actually do catch a lot of the slimy pests.

Not alone is it an effective beer trap for slugs but it is also an attractive garden ornament.
