I've wanted for some time to get away from any products that contain petroleum.That sounds pretty easy, right?Nope.Many of our name brand famous maker consumer products contain petroleum. Laundry soap. Dish soap. On and on.I wanted to go plant-based, but in the grocery stores those good products are quite expensive.I ran across this dish soap here, bought it, and used it.It's just fine. And it is actually concentrated like they say. Just a bit of it does the job very well.It doesn't have much scent, as I thought it would, but that's all right.And it's totally non-harmful to ocean life and everything in the world-- plus, I do my part in starving out Big Oil.I highly recommend it, and the price is quite competitive when you count up the ounces.12-18-2023As I've been using this product for some time now, I thought I'd return and give it a more thorough review.Everything I said about it above is true, except for one important thing: in my opinion, it is not "concentrated" at all. I go through it rapidly. It's not that it's exactly a ripoff, but it's described as being concentrated, and to me, that would mean it could easily be diluted somewhat and still work.It can't be diluted and still work. It's a bit thin. A bit lacking in oomph, in real soap viscosity. It's not as rich as many name brand dishes soaps. I used Palmolive before coming to this product, and it's much more substantial.But Palmolive is a petroleum-based detergent, which is why I wanted to gt away from it-- and I'll continue to use Ginger Lily Farms dish soap, happily.It works quite well, although not as economically as I'd hoped. It smells nice, cleans very well, and I have the satisfaction of knowing that I'm not polluting, or adding to the fortunes of the petroleum industry.

So I read many reviews as I was looking for something that will really cut the grease. I had just switched over to organic Castle soap as we are chemical free in my house except for dish detergent. Everything else is organic or Norwex. Well, sad to say, no matter how hard I try the castle soap just doesn't cut it as far as cleaning dishes and pans everything felt slimy. I read a ton of reviews on a ton of products. Anything that said fully natural and actually was clean as far as ingredients had more reviews than not saying it was okay but didn't really cut a grease.I didn't want straight poison like you're off the shelf stuff. I wasn't thrilled with the ingredients in this, but two ingredients that I'm not happy with is better than 10 on the off-the-shelf stuff.No, it does not smell like pert shampoo, but it does have more of a shampoo like scent than it does a dish soap.Having said that, it's not overpowering and I didn't have any sort of skin reaction and I have very sensitive skin.It's sudses 100 times better than all natural stuff and maybe half as good as the pure toxic stuff. Definitely sufficient to get everything good and clean and feeling squeaky. I haven't done anything that was dripping with Grease yet, but definitely dirty enough pan and silverware to know it might take an extra squirt for a super greasy dish, but I am happy with it considering I knew the ingredients before I purchased it.

I absolutely love this dish soap it works great and it smells good for the value it's worth buying it and it lasts a long time

This has become my favorite dishwashing liquid. It smells nice and cleans even heavy pots and pans. It's a bit thick, so it can be diluted to get the most out of it. No need to worry about toxic chemicals with this product.

Wonderful mild scent. Lots of suds. Long lasting
