I wanted to add a 2.5 hard drive for my HP laptop, and this was the perfect solution. It was easy to install and fits my laptop perfectly. The cable is of high quality and has been working flawlessly since I installed it. I'm so happy to have found this as it saved me the hassle and expense of having to take my laptop to a computer shop especially since I can do it myself. I highly recommend the this hard drive cable board to anyone in need of an additional HDD for their HP laptop.

I didn't end up using the rubber HDD enclosure as it would not fit in the laptop.

The connector arrived right on time and was very simple to install. It works just like advertised. However, the rubber bracket didn't really fit the SSD that well. I just ended up not using the bracket and having the SSD by itself.

Ordered for my laptop a HP G8 250 to user alongside an acer ssd about a year ago and it works great

Honestly don't remember much about this one, but I remembered the cable didn't fit my Acer Predator. Should work for other models though.

SATA connector and small end of ribbon connected perfectly in my laptop. Included rubber caddy for SSD was too thick when installed and prevented tight closure of the case, so I left it off. The screw holds the SATA connector/SSD firmly in place.

The board and cable were perfect. The price was right and it shipped very quickly. My only complaint is that the rubber bracket and sticky pads were not in the package. I didn’t actually need them for my install so it was not a big deal. But the listing shows them included and I was surprised they were not there. If ai had needed them, it would be a problem.
