EheimAEH4005300 Intake Set 594 Canister Filters Parts for Aquarium, 594 5/8" ID

I needed to find an intake set for several API Filster filters that I have and were discontinued, so most of the replacement parts are no longer sold anywhere.This intake set works great and will work with any 5/8” inner diameter tubing.

Where has this been all my life? lol. Great replacement intake part for the classic filters. Blends in much better with black background, well built, and best of all makes the filter super easy to prime. No more sucking, etc...just open the cap and fill with tank water and plug in; viola, it is up and running.

While im sure this would work BEST with an Ehiem tubing i am using home depot tubing on a fluval 307 and it works amazing. Like other reviews mention lots of thought, good gasket placement and little extra like im able to add water addatives to the top of it everything will be snug. I actually cut a large spunge filter to fit and it has plenty of room! the only thing i would note is that if you plan to put this on the BACK of your tank that is AGAINST a wall, you might will want to put it on the side because it is a large over hang but the suction cups work great to secure it. Honestly really nice

Priced a bit high but works and easy to install

If you're tired of looking at the green intake that came with your eheim canister this will be a great replacement. It's easy to install and put together. It truly does blend in better with a black background. Also no more sucking on the green tubing to prime if using the eheim classic. All you do is screw off top and add two maybe three cups of water screw the top back on and flip the quick connects and your siphon starts.

This is an incredibly versatile set of input and outflow attachments. It puts to shame the flimsy devices included with most canister filters. The plastic is solid and burr/flash free and everything fits together perfectly. Every single connection is gasketed with an o-ring and there are absolutely no leaks. Each device is plenty long enough to handle a wide range of tank sizes.They are a bit on the expensive side and while very well built, I think they could be discounted a bit more than current pricing levels. The cost makes it hard to justify using them on anything other than a main show tank.

Expensive and more than I needed but great to have. Suction cups fail in time so I use magnets. Wish they had each piece available. Just needed the tube part

Great product but watch-out, because there is no useful information or pictures that tell you the connectors are 16/22mm. Amazon being lazy the tubing recommended for the intake and outtake is the wrong size. This set requires 16/22mm tubing not the 12/16mm which is sold when you buy all three together. . Get the Eheim AEH4004300 set.

I did not realize there were two different sizes. I bought new tubes and intake and outflow for my aquarium, i ended up with two different sizes and i cannot return it now
