Love this story
Very cute. Very sweet. One that most kids can relate to.

Perfect
I love how this book teaches kids that they don't loose our love for making mistakes or doing bad things, but there are natural consequences of those bad decisions. It is important for kids to know that experiencing consequences is not the same thing as losing love. Discipline can and should be done in love. Consequences can be natural results of the mistake or bad choice too just as is presented in this book. My son found this book reassuring and comforting. I found it a good reminder to be an even better parent.

Great for the elderly!
Bought this for an elderly dementia family member and gave it to her as she moved into a nursing home recently. She fell in love with this book after it was read aloud by a pastor at a church where she attended weekly social events for dementia patients.

very sweet story
My son is 2 1/2 and really likes this book. I bought it initially because I thought it was a book that my son reads at daycare, but it seems to be a different book with the same name. I enjoy reading it because it's a really nice story about mommy's loving their kids, even when they don't listen or make mistakes. If you like this, we have been reading another book that is also about a bear family and a boy and his mom called "snow bear" that is kind of a similar type of story about a bear who wanders off from his mom and needs help to find her again.

Beautiful story
Beautiful story. A gentle and kind way to reassure a child that, while you may not always like their behavior, you will always love them. Perfect length for a bedtime story. My only complaint is that condition appeared to be "like new" (not actually new as listed) due to wear and sticky residue from a price tag. That was very disappointing.

Books for my great-grandsons
My grandson was only a baby when my granddaughter and her husband would read to him, especially at bedtime. Now he looks forward to it and will bring a book for them to read. He has a little brother now and he also enjoys listening to stories from the books. I love all the childrens books that I buy. I especially like "I'll Always Love You." This books lets the children know that no matter what they do, they will always be loved. Being able to listen to a story is such an important skill for children to acquire. I am so proud of my Granddaughter and her husband for teaching this skill to their children,

Doesn't matter, love.
Sweet little book about consequences, making things better, and the immutable nature of true love. For toddlers. I love it :)I recommend this to gentle parents everywhere - and to parents who aren't sure how gentle discipline works. This explains it very simply so a toddler, or an adult, can understand :)After my baby had ripped two copies of the paperback to shreds, I bought her the board book. It's actually VERY disappointing. It's missing words (most notably baby Pog's name) which is very jarring, and worse, it's missing two whole pages (The fridge scenario) compared to the paperback. I don't recommend the board book.. the paperback is much better.
