Mystic Mondays: The Cosmic Creatures Deck: A Deck and Guidebook to Connect to the Wilderness Within

I bought this deck because I was being called to work with animal spirit energy more and more. I looked at all the well-known ones like the Animal Spirit Oracle, Animal Kin Oracle, Spirit Animal Tarot and Spirit of the Animals Oracle and Winterseer Oracle. It was so hard. The Winter Seer almost won out but this was what placed this deck above the others for me: - a substantial and well-written guidebook with full colour and keywords right at the top - Soothing images that can give colour therapy as well or the colour can be used to add meaning - sturdy cardstock and good-sized cards that will be durable - Lack of keywords to allow for multiple meanings and interpretations to occur during readings. Keywords or phrases are good for quick readings but I find they don't let me truly engage with the energy of the animal intuitively. - The animals aren't locked into suits or any other types of associations so you can just engage with the idea and energy of the animal. Nothing more or less. - Unusual animal energies include like coral and fly. There is a great combination of both mythical and real animals from all over the World. Being from the tropical region makes me appreciate how few decks include this. - A good number of cards. 66 I believe where other decks give 44 or 50. - An amazing guidebook that you can carry wth you on it's own for study since a full picture of the card is included. The writing is good and the keywords are right at the top. CONCERNS: I was initially concerned that there weren't keywords but I realised I had decks with animals attached to systems and works and suits like Spiritsong tarot and with keywords like Spirit Animal Oracle that I don't use as much for the animal. Ive used this one for a couple readings on its own and it has worked so well. I was also concerned that the artwork was very vector-looking and thought I wouldn't connect with the essence of the animal as much. In a way it is a very quirky and special representation of the animals so it allows me to use my imagination and intuition of the ideas about the animals. CONCLUSION It is a special deck and it pairs really well with many other decks but also can work really well on its own for a reading. I have used it to describe the energy of a situation, to get advice on what qualities I need to show, describing a persons traits or personality as well as their current energy in readings. It can also just be a message for the day or week etc or also a journal prompt since all the descriptions have light and dark built in without being too contrasting. I think of it as flashcards for adults so the possibilities are great. It is the type of deck that you can gift to all ages above maybe 13 years old. It is beautiful and has enough depth but allows you to connect to it also.

These are made from quality card stock, the illustrations are gorgeous, the box is very protective, and the messages in the book are beautiful. I like to pick one to meditate on for the day. Highly recommended.

Absolutely stunning deck! The colors are gorgeous, the cardstock is great quality and the guidebook is beautiful as well and each card is perfectly detailed.

This deck is so lovely! I adore the imagery and art work. The meanings also match well. Overall this is a solid deck and I'm glad that I bought it. I was really disappointed that the edges were not holo like Mystic Mondays' tarot deck. The cards are also not "slick" like the tarot deck, which I prefer. The cards are of great quality- thick and seem like they'll last for a long time. I really expected it to be the same as their tarot deck, which isn't fair. It wasn't advertised that way but fyi for anyone thinking of buying it. Now for the bad- I had to order a replacement for this deck. The first deck I got had major issues. There were large white spots on the backs of some of the cards. It looked terrible but also completely defeats the purpose of an oracle deck if you can tell which cards are which. I think it may be supply chain issues that are disrupting everything. I ordered a ton of decks recently from different manufacturers and more than half had weird printing issues and had to be replaced. It's definitely a quality issue and regardless of reason it should be handled better. My second deck has no issues and is perfect.

Absolutely beautiful deck with not only vibrant graphics and colors, but also beautiful expressions of each animal. Goes well with my Mystic Monday tarot deck.

Overall I love this deck! The vibrancy speaks to me. It awakens my soul during this cold & dreary winter. My favorite so far is the butterfly card! 🦋 Only complaint, if you could call it that, is that I wish for a small price increase they’d have come gilded- I vote for the shade of purple in the paw on the card backs!!! 😍 (Grace- please see this 🤣) I love how the Tarot deck is gilded and so I would love if these were too. For what you get now, the price is outstanding. One thing that left me frustrated a tiny bit was in the description, the measurements were for the box itself- no where on the internet as far as I could find were the actual card measurements. My hands are small so I was nervous before buying. The size these are is the absolute max I can outstretch my hand/fingers to overhand shuffle. Here are their measurements for the actual cards themselves: 5 inches tall, 3 inches wide, and 1 & 1 quarter inch thick. See photos for reference. This is also important to know for deck pouches, so I hope this info helps out. Like I said, overall I love these cards, they speak to me. I also love her Tarot deck and Mystic Mondays app too. 5 stars.

I have graces other deck the Mystic Mondays and it’s amazing. I was so excited when she announce that she was doing an oracle deck around animals. I instantly became obsessed the cards and the detail and description are amazing. This is a great deck to add to the Mystic Mondays which I also use religiously. I also recommend you download the app because it’s a handy dandy way of learning tarot very quickly

Ho avuto l’opportunità di acquistare queste carte ad un prezzo basso e quindi è diventato un affare, perché sono davvero belle. Le illustrazioni dallo stile essenziale e la mancanza di parole chiave sulle carte potrebbe far pensare che siano poco sfruttabili ma non è così. Inoltre sono accompagnate da un piccolo libro rilegato (in lingua inglese) di rara qualità dove è possibile conoscere le caratteristiche dell’animale raffigurato e quindi il messaggio che l’artista intende rappresentare nella singola carta. Great hardcover guidebook, beautiful card colours. My only downside is the cardstock isn't quite as good quality as the original mystic mondays tarot appears to be. The edges of this oracle deck are also not gilded as the original tarot deck beautifully is. However, it is over-all pretty good quality and worth the price.
