This is a very nice Lemongrass essential oil. There are definitely noticeable therapeutic benefits, typical of pure Lemongrass Essential oils, when diffused or diluted with a carrier oil to breathe in deeply from the palms of cupped hands.I've used this to relieve muscle aches and pain in the bath - and you can just take a cup of epsom salts, add a few drops of this oil to those salts and then add the salts to running bath water. (so nice with a touch of lavender too) Since essential oils do NOT blend with water, you will need the salts as a carrier to get them dispersed safely in the tub.So here's where it goes wrong: Their website suggests some methods of use for essential oil that border on the ridiculous and the unsafe. Like they say adding this to your bath, "add in a few of drops of lemon grass oil. You can just leave it like that, or compliment it with something else such as Epsom Salts." Yeah, no... that is not how to do it. SMH! Their site, over and over makes horrible suggestions such as with Juniper Oil: "Put 3-5 drops in 1-2 cups of hot water and soak a facecloth in it. Put soaked facecloth on the back of your neck during meditation." Juniper EO is an oil best used in MODERATION only and that amount of drops is overload (unless your product is a poor distillation). So, I dropped a star on the review because they should not be making suggestions that are going to irritate your lungs, skin, body! Unless they know that their oils are not as potent as they should be, that is.The essential oil itself is good! But this company's advice is not what you would find being accepted in ANY professional essential oil association/group or consumer group. And, the chemical analysis of an essential oil will show that it does NOT contain "A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, C, folate, nutrients, magnesium, phosphorous, copper, potassium, calcium, zinc, and iron! The molecules in essential oils are mainly mono and sesquiterpenes and their oxygenated derivatives. There are NO vitamins in them., that is a myth that has already been busted.IF your essential oil contains those vitamins and minerals, then it doesn't pass a GCMS test for chemical analysis that would show it is unadulterated.

I was introduced to oils by several people who offered up samples and blends made specifically for me. I love the ability to blend different scents to enhance the benefits of the oils. The lemongrass oil has quite a strong scent. I enjoy the ability to blend this oil with other oils like basil or spearmint. Mixing it with a carrier oil such as coconut oil allows for a great massage oil. I have not tried it yet, but lemongrass is supposed to be a great insect repellent. I will have to add it to another scent to counteract how strong the lemongrass is and dilute it to make it easier to spray. As with most oils I use, I add some to my humidifier at night to freshen the air. The oil comes in an amber bottle to prevent the oil from breaking down. The oil is quite pure as it is not foggy.The company's website is very sparse. I received this on a promotion for my honest and unbiased review which I have given. When using lemongrass, always use a carrier oil on your skin as it is very strong and may burn your skin. This is a real wonder drug and has really impressed and helped me. When I wash my hair and add a couple of drops of this oil, my hair is shiny and smells great. I highly recommend this oil for all its benefits.
