Used this Dongar adapter to power up my new Wolfbox dash cam in my 09 Tacoma. Install was extremely easy and I like the blue led indicating the adapter is powered. Works like a charm.

Installed on 2010 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport to power VS1 dashcam. This had the 14 pin mirror connector. I removed the rear view mirror (T-20 Torx) and the overhead console (see YouTube) to get good access to the headliner cavity and stash the excess wires neatly. It all worked correctly the first time I turned on the ignition.

Bought this for my 2010 toyota tacoma. Everything works and the product is great quality, but the cords are WAY to long. Going to have to stuff it in the head liner if it even fits up there.

I expected it to take me at least a couple of hours to install so I gathered a bunch of tools out to the car along with the adapter. I removed one small cover from above the mirror (by hand) and the plug was RIGHT THERE. Ten minutes later I was completely finished. Thanks for filling a real need with these adapters!

I purchased one of these for my Tundra based on a review from a Tundra forum. Seemed like an awesome idea to avoid having a long cable running down my dash.Stupidly I bought the wrong one, twice. The first one wouldn't power on so I returned it for a second one and it also wouldn't provide power. Turns out I had the wrong one. My mistake not the company's.I got in touch with the company, and they provided me with direction on what to buy. It came quickly and I was able to power my dash cam.No more wires running all over the place. Works like a charm. I am hoping to get one for my Corvette too and tech support is helping me narrow down what I need.If you have issues contact support and they will set you straight.
