The bag was pretty and looked really nice. Unfortunately the mermaid tail fell off quite soon after we started using it (which I expected with children throwing their bag) so didn’t think anything of it but then the strap for the handles kept moving to the biggest size every so often. Might have been a faulty one. Apart from that my 8 year old really likes it.

This product appeared great at first but the build quality is very poor. The zipper pulls and key ring all fell off very quickly so we replaced all of these. The adjustable straps come lose constantly - the buckles do not hold.My 7 year old daughter has been using this for going to school everyday so it’s no overly heavy or full - she is the one carrying it back and forth. And given that the school has been shut for 6 months it’s barely been used at all since she had it.Recently I also noticed that the straps are breaking away from the bag so it can now no longer be used unless we get the straps reattached by a professional.Do not recommend at all - get the slightly more expensive Hype version of this bag with a much better build quality that will last more than a few weeks.I would get a refund except annoyingly this was a gift so it wasn’t purchased using my account.
