DickiesMen's Loose Fit Double Knee Work Pant

My husband needed some new work pants, mostly for knocking around in garage/yard/woods messing with cars and motorcycles, firewood, etc. He keeps messing up his jeans and wanted Dickies brand because his buddy had some. They are very nice pants for the price here on Amazon, where his buddy bought them, a brick and mortar store, they cost about $10 more. It's not a true boot leg, but the leg is really designed to be worn with work boots because they kind of cover running shoes, almost drag the heel. I would say if anything, the leg is just a tad long, my husband has to fold the cuff when he wears running shoes, but they fit over ankle high boots great. They have a cool little pocket (It's not really secret, but I needed a hook to get you to read) on the right leg, it's supposed to be for a cell phone, but I found when doing laundry you can put screws and washers and pliers and a screwdriver, with room to spare (the pocket has little Dickies brand label/patch so everybody can see you wear Dickies and thus are COOL). At least I found the screws, etc. before going in the wash. Speaking of the wash, they are REALLY stiff when you get them. After we made sure they fit well, I washed them in cold on two long agitation cycles with a soak inbetween, they softened up a little bit and didn't shrink any or lose color. After about 5 or 6 wear and wash cycles they hold color and wash up well in cold with other darks. They are totally broken in now, they don't get as soft as camo fatigues because the material is thicker/heavier to give an idea of material thickness/heaviness if you know real Army type fatigues. You just need to hang them up out of the dryer for no wrinkles, you don't have to iron them, unless you want a crease for some reason. He has had them over a month, wears them on the weekend/ after work knocking around, but they could be everyday professional work pants as well. They are much better than the pants you get from a uniform service at a job, at least the ones I have dealt with, worn at past jobs. Double knee, thick material all over, solid construction and seams, big belt loops that keep the belt situated right at the waist (really nice touch for guys that don't have 6 packs, if you know what I mean). Hubby liked the wide belt loops, When he showed me, I got 2 thumbs up on those! These have become his new BLACK jeans (cool, tough, 63 year old, LOL), he likes them so much I ordered a second pair for him. I could easy see paying up to $40 for pants of this quality, TRUE work pants for less than $30 (they sell for more at other stores), SUPER PRICE-SUPER QUALITY, buy them for your husband and maybe he will be SUPER too....Or not...But his pants will still look good. 5 STARS

This product was a great quality. Unfortunately the sizing runs a little small and did not fit my husband. He typically wears a 42 waist Although he would need a 44 and this particular pants. Shipping was fast and quality of product was good.

Got these due to the material. Needed something that will survive strong acids, bases, and lots of rough and tough ladder climbing, crouching, etc.Size is bad. Got 33x30, which is precise in every pants I've had for at least ten years. Waist is great, but the length is ridiculous, like clown pants, over 32". The loose fit is great for all the movement.Edit... just bought third pair... love these pants... size is still weird in length, but over time mit shrinkage, it's acceptable. They hold up to anything! Sulfuric, nitric, ammonia, caustic, hot metal, even some aggressive wearing, and the front belt loop where i hang my keys and keycard, doesn't matter. Worst I could do to these was some orange discolorization from extremely concentrated nitric acid.Wasn't at work 20 minutes today, and already got 95% sulfuric acid on the leg. These pants shrugged it off. Love this material, I can see these surviving well.I'm not sure I can use the phone pocket, it's a bit narrow for my massive hands and fingers. But the regular pockets are well-shaped and positioned, I trust my phone stays in place even when hanging half upside down. The belt loops are sturdy, a bit wide (maybe make the front one a bit narrower to accomodate a d-ring for keys and keycards?).In short, love these pants, but the size is completely wrong. I don't wear a 28, but I assume if a 30 length is 2" too long, I have to buy a 28 to get a 30. If you need pants to withstand harsh chemicals, these are great.

Fit ia good for buying the size you usually wear with out having to size up for fit. They are I little bit heavier but wear better because of it. They feel good when new but get better after wearing and washing in time. I just wash and wear and never have trouble with wrinkles.

Fit is excellent , pants are sturdy without being to hot . Nice cargo pockets easily hides cell and a couple packs of gum. My son wears these to his job and they wear and wash extremely well. Nice workmanship , pockets are roomy as well . Dickies is the right quality and the best work wear in my opinion .

Doble rodilla muy buen material y durabilidad

Las talla muy reducida. Solo manejan números pares. La devolución si la quieres hacer te cuesta (solo me daban 40 pesos). Algo está pasando en Amazon… desaniman el deseo de comprar en línea. El pantalón estaba ok , sin embargo en corte y calidad Carhartt es mucho mejor. El cierre es de baja calidad. No entra un cinturón ancho (en un pantalón de doble rodilla?) y no entendí el para que hacer la parte de abajo tan ancha a menos que te quieras poner el pantalón con las botas puestas o seas skater. Mejor pago más y me compro Carhartt.
