This fire pit is brilliant, I got this for £35.00 when others that are very similar are going for £70.00. The quality is brilliant and after several fire's it still holds up and looks like new. Just make sure you empty it after use and pack it away. The secondary burn looks amazing once it gets going. It's not truly smoke free, although you can't see it you still smell smokey at the end of the night.

I got what must have been the last one of these Amazon had in stock as it came on time but missing one of it’s two metal carry handles. Isn’t a big problem but makes it a bit unwieldy to get out of the carry bag; hence 4 stars and not 5.Otherwise, this thing is great: made of decently hefty stainless steel; using wood pellets it burns smokeless right enough; chucks out the warmth and nice and compact for those with a tiny gardenette like ours. It took about 20 mins to get going and the 5cm deep layer of pellets lasted about an hour on a windless December day. Flames come up maybe a foot higher than the top when it’s at full pelt and the pellets burn really efficiently. The aesthetics aren’t for everyone, it’s clearly been designed by an engineer as it does the job effectively but not everyone will like the hexagonal steel occasional table look. The top bit sits on top of the bottom bit with gravity (it’s heavy enough not to worry about toppling in even a sturdy wind) and it comes with a carry bag - the bottom bit packs neatly into the top bit to make it a compact portable thing. Not that you’ll want to carry it too far as it’s got to be at least 5kg, if not 10.If you have a small space and need a fire pit, or want a portable one, this will do the trick. Just remember to take some wood pellets with you (though, as others have said, isn’t clear why they only recommend that fuel as it’d easily handle others, possibly for balance reasons I guess).

There are lots of much more expensive units out there but as long as you stick to the rules of not putting ok wet wood or wood above the second burn holes you will be really pleased,Note does give off a lot of base heat so a piece of woods with a couple of bricks for long use saves grass damage

We had 3 fire pits running at a caravan rally, this one produced noticeably less smoke than the others.I noticed the kids gravitated to this one to toast marshmallows, I can only assume they noticed the reduced smoke.Like most firepits it will scorch the grass unless you devise something to prevent this.It comes with a very useful carry bag to keep it in (and keep other things clean)All things said I am glad I bought it and intend to use it a lot.p.s. I have been using scrap timber not the recommended wood pellets with no problems.

Hardly any smoke

This is a really compact pit and gives more heat than my others, one being a metre wide and massive.This does give the solo stove effect of a secondary burn and if you don't use pellets this is a lot less smokey than non smokeless fire pits.Pellets do not burn well at all in this on there own even though it says this is a pellet burner, my advice is to ignore the manufacturers advice and burn softwood that is non treated and kiln dried then use some pellets to get that extra flame they give off. If you choke the wood with pellets though, you will just have a smoke machine and no heat.I have included some photos, firstly just the pellets they tell you to use and the mountain of smoke that advice gets you, then softwood on that initial pellet fire which shows you the smoke a little more controlled and then my version of a softwood fire and a few pellets for extra flame but no choking of the fire and that is the best and also cheapest option.Maybe the manufacturer sells pellets and that is why they give poor advice but ignore them and you'll be happy with it

I have not used this yet - so please see other reviews on that. I just wanted to show the difference in the two I have. I have had the BLUE brand for 3 years. Has worked flawlessly - just a little sanding and paint after each season of camping - solid product. I just wanted something smaller that's was just for the wife and I. This fits the bill. With limited space in my RV, this was a better choice - just look at the picture. It's not as solid as my Blue one, but for the price difference and my usage, this will be great. Even if it only last one season. Remember that these things are basically "on fire" for long periods of time. Glad I bought this and can't wait to use it. Small and perfect for just two people - VERY pleased so far. Will only change the 5 star rating, if needed - after I use it. Cute lil' fella!

The media could not be loaded. Amazing little pit. Takes about 8 minutes to get going good but huge flames when it gets rolling. I've used pellets and thrown some wood in as well. Just make sure to add a bit of pellets at a time (after initial burn) so that you don't throw off a bunch of smoke. Cheaper than my propane fire pit (a $7 bag of canadian tire pellets will burn for about 10 hours) and throws way more heat. This model was much cheaper than other versions but the quality is still there, I will definitely keep it dry to avoid rusting but I won't be upset if it does.I absolutely love this thing.

EXCELENTE, calienta muchisimo con pellets, probada en el patio exterior de casa! Le cambio las estrellas de 3 ha 5.

Sono amante del 🔥,mi piace l'atmosfera e il calore che crea,ho provato anche altri tipi di braciere da esterno, ma questo è meraviglioso, funziona con diversi tipi di biocombustibile, accetta l'aggiunta senza fare una piega, lo consiglio anche per il camino oppure termocamino, ha una buona e robusta lamiera,complimenti a chi ha brevetato questo braciere, sia per la funzionalità, rendimento e design!🔥
