I bought this to plug into my car charger for an echo dot...it fits the dot but even when the charger is plugged in the dot doesn’t turn on. Any idea?

I have an older model so can't answer definitively but just look on your Echo Dot and if you see a 3.5mm jack I believe that it will work.
