QUITE A BIT OF A BUMMER AS STATED!!!!
everything you have read from the others that have reviewed this is accurately correct, the worst part of this is the tracks stopping between every song all throughout 8 discs, i agree that most others like myself that like to buy live shows like this want to hear the whole show all the way way though, crowd, warts audience and all. here we do not get any of that and we do not get any banter from pete or roger between songs wich has been a live who staple for 5 decades now and we do not even get a little booklet or anything with this, the packaging is rather cheap and well??? i guess everything that has been said by the others i do not need to repeat........

The Who live 1969 - 2020 but with 2 second gaps between every song.
This is a 8cd set from Laser Media which means you get a 2 second gap between every song so you get around 80 gaps over the 7 hours of music in this package and is very annoying every few minutes.CD 1 is from Washington in November 1969 and the running time is just under 45 minutes. This was recorded by the band for a possible live album.CD 2 is from Pontiac stadium Detroit in December 1975 and is taken from the in-house video soundtrack recorded at the venue.CD 3 the second part of New York Madison Square Gardens in July 1976 and is just over 1 hour in length.CD 4 is part 1 of Chicago on the 8th of December 1979 recorded from the live feed set out to local cinemas on the night of the show.CD 5 is the first part of New York 1996 (details the same as CD 3 above) 52 minutes.CD 6 is part 2 from Chicago 1979 (details the same as CD4 above) 52 minutes and the wrong song titles on the cover.CD 7 is the soundtrack from the video recorded at Auburn Hills Michigan on the 27th June 2000 and clocks in at just over 45 minutes.CD 8 is the second part from Auburn hills above and is 66 minutes long. There is no stage banter on any of the concerts and songs sometimes fade in and out for reason. For £20 it is a bargain but for Who fans we want the banter that the band is famous for so I was very disappointed along with all the 2 second gaps and all the fades. Now if only The Who can release these shows professionally I will be very happy.

the who at their best
as most of this early material was recorded on antique equipment, this really does sound good , if you buy this you won't regret it

Not as advertised.
First, this is not 8 discs of 8 full concerts. Each disc is only 9-12 live tracks. Poor packaging. It doesn’t say which disc is what show. But, the sound quality is good. And, for the price I paid to get it to the US, I’m OK with the purchase. 8 discs of my favorite band live in concert. What else can I say?

Badly packaged
Some live Who but very poorly annotated and unclear but still with some merit for the collector. Overpriced generally

Beware of the Amazon track list!
My choice of 2 stars is a compromise between the 5 stars attributable the the fabulous Who - some fantastic performances - and the 0 stars deserved by Laser Media for this unforgivably shoddy package. I first saw this advertised on another website promising 'over 150 songs' across a number of complete live performances. This is not what you get! As another reviewer has helpfully listed, the 8 discs are mostly part performances and there is absolutely no indication in Laser's packaging where these originate from. The package is basic to say the least. Then there is the issue of track breaks. I fail to see how anyone could consider releasing live recordings with track breaks! This seriously impacts on the listening pleasure. Fortunately, The Who rise above all this and deliver some cracking performances so overall it's probably worth buying. Addendum - the track list quoted on Amazon is simply not correct! Beware!
