This cooling pad was a godsend! It has kept my laptop cool and no more emergency shut downs because of overheating. My laptop is a really nice Gateway and about 7 years old and for the first time since I bought it, kept getting hot and shutting down. I had to keep a portable fan on it to keep it up and running so I decided perhaps a cooling pad would prevent this overheating and it does and has not shut down on me even once since I set it up and I have had it on all day and overnight too. It's a keeper!!

The cooling pad is okay, its not noisy. That being said, its not noisy because there doesn't seem to be as much air flow as I would like. I bought this for use on my Alienware m15x. The product says it will fit up to a 17 inch laptop, this is a lie. At 15 inches, my laptop barely fits. Also as far as design flaws go, the first height setting is way too high to type comfortably. Also the usb slots are on the right side, which makes it a pain if you are using an external mouse and not the touch pad. Overall, its an alright product, but not one I would buy again or really recommend like all the free product reviewers.

this started great but at some point it just stopped working. I had one different product from another provider that lasted about the same length of time. I don't have the money to keep trying different coolers. It's a good concept & would love to have one that works. Perhaps I just got a lemon from both companies which seems unlikely

Pretty solid cooling. Brought my Lenovo Y50 down by about 8-10C. The adjustable angle isn't really useful unless your laptop is on a higher than normal surface.

At first I bought AMNIE AE-CP1501 15.6"-17" Laptop Cooler. It's not as good as I expected.And now, this Seedforce Laptop Cooling Pad is only 10$ more expensive, but it's worth it.

easy to use

This was working fine until two months later, it stopped working in the morning. Don't know what happened, and can't return.

I like the versatility of the movement from the pad. The lights are a neat feature, but the cooling works great.
