I wanted to sand down some panels in a door with details and found it time consuming doing by hand. Tried these and was so pleased with the results, and so much quicker!!! My sister has also used them to sand down her stair case spindles.

Quite course bristles on this set so if you're trying to avoid scratches on a polished surface be mindful of this, I wrapped the bristles with a cloth to avoid this happening to a polished stainless steel exhaust pipe I was using it on.

For a quick fix to remove surface grime and rust or to prepare a surface for painting then these work well however don’t rely on them being your only tool. The abrasive coating doesn’t last very long and doesn’t cope well with high drill speeds.

Does not function as described.These are nylon cords impregnated with abrasive particles, but, the design is flawed. That design would only work if you are able to push hard enough to bend the bristles so the bristle's sides are in contact with the workpiece. But the bristles are too stiff to achieve this, so you just end up with the tips in contact, which are 95% just nylon. So you might as well just buy a nylon brush at 5% of the price.Testes On wood and on painted metal, slower than doing by hand with sandpaper. Useless.
