It works!
I've been using this in my breakfast smoothie and I can say it most certainly makes a difference. I couldn't detect any overpowering taste from it and it comes with a scoop to easily decant the correct portion. Very happy with the product so far and the quality of it. Recommend.

Not for me
I just couldn’t take this in the powder form - I just couldn’t get it to dissolve or blend (see photo) it looked vile and was lumpy and I only managed a couple is sips.Apparently you can get this is capsule form which would be much easier to take. Also the tub was only just over half full (see picture) which is a little disingenuous.Sorry but I had to bin the rest of the product as I can’t take it.I hope you find my review helpful 😊

Good digestive fibre but not for me
I’ve tried quite a few fibre supplements in capsule for previously but I found it difficult to drink powdered type. Most of the ingredients in this powder form are reliable for maintaining a proper level of sugar in the body. It has flax seed which contains vitamins, minerals and fibre. Also, one of its main health benefits is due to its content of Omega-3 fats. In addition, it contains oat fibre that is a natural sources of fibre.I tried this for a couple of weeks mixed it to my foods as I find it difficult to drink in one go. After a while I noticed slight changes in my appetite and energy, but frankly it is not palatable as I really don’t like the aftertaste. It may really help your digestive system but it’s not just my cup of tea.

Good fibre supplement - but not cheap.
Following medical treatment a few years ago I have to follow a largely fluid based diet. One of the issues that comes with this is the fact that it is less easy to take in the recommended amount of dietary fibre on a regular basis. So, a product such as this is something that I was keen to try.Typically I will consume two meal replacement drinks during the day and each of these are made up using 350ml of water. The instructions on this RenewLife fibre recommend adding 8g to 300ml of water, so I simply added the 8g to one of my 350ml mixes. I mix these with a hand blender, rather than just shaking, and the fibre mixed in very well. However, it did make the consistency of the drink very thick. Subsequently I have divided the recommended daily 8g dosage between my two daily drinks, so that I now add 4g to each 350ml drink. This works much better and gives a consistency that is thickened, but not excessively.Based on the recommended daily dosage this pack contains a supply for 30 days and at current pricing (£14.44) this works out at 48p per day, which strikes me as being a bit on the expensive side. The product itself is good and purely on quality terms I would happily recommend it. Whether it represents adequate value for money is for each individual to decide.I hope you find these insights helpful.

Digestive Fibre soluble
Great powder to pump up your daily fibre intake. Easily mixed following the instructions, does not leave any clumps and is also quite tasty, doesn't taste like sand as other brands. Great product.

Dodgy label and absolutely vile and horrid consistency, and a choke warning!
I'm not sure what they were thinking when they came up with this?!The label has tiny writing and there is underwriting underneath but the label is impossible to peel back to get access to it.It looks vile, and mixing doesn't really work... its clumpy no matter how much water you mix in. It even comes with a warning about choking, all in small letters. Yes I had problems swallowing this and I definitely wouldn't recommend this to anyone who has problems swallowing.Honestly, find something else. This is going to be thrown away.

Works well, but taste and consistency had me wishing I'd picked up capsules
I picked up the fibre powder that is a blend of soluble and insoluble fibre to get your bowels functioning as they should. The product arrives in a decent-sized tub that stores easily upright in the cupboard. It has a screw on lid that makes it easy to access the powder without it spilling. A serving using the included scoop is 8g and the tub is 240g, meaning you get 30 days worth of fibre here. The powder itself is a sandy brown colour and consistency. As directed, I put a scoop's worth in to 300ml of water and gave it a good long stir. Unfortunately, I found that it really didn't mix well at all. It was very lumpy and sticky - gloopy almost - and stuck to the spoon. This made it difficult to drink, but also the taste certainly isn't desirable. Added together, I found it ought to get through. I've given it a couple more goes and tried adding more and less water, but the results seem to be the same. The taste is just bearable, but the consistency makes it difficult to recommend the power version. Instead, I'd say go for the capsules. The plus side to all this is that it works well. It's fibre and it does the job it's supposed to do and very quickly too.So, I'd give the product's effects a thumbs up, but the taste and consistency a thumbs down. In my mind, the best option (and the one I will now go for) is to pick up the capsules rather than the powder.

Exactly as it says on the tin
No issues with this product at all, exactly as described. High quality fibre supplement that appears to be working as intended.
