I recently purchased the Toto Washlet C5, and it has transformed my bathroom experience. My primary reasons for buying it were improved hygiene and comfort, and it has exceeded my expectations on both fronts.Setting up the Washlet C5 was straightforward. I was able to handle the plumbing myself without any issues and no leaks encountered. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, though I will say the black rubber bolts you screw into weren't immediately intuitive. I did opt to hire an electrician to install a new outlet in my bathroom, as the unit requires power, but this was a planned step and not a surprise. I had no other unexpected challenges during installation.I use the warm water wash, heated seat, warm air dryer, and oscillating spray every single time. The pulsating spray also gets some use. The cleaning performance is effective, and the water pressure is perfectly comfortable. It's more effective at cleaning than other bidets I've used, even those with higher water pressure settings.The warm air dryer is effective if you're patient enough to use it for a longer duration, though I generally still use a small amount of toilet paper for a quick finish, significantly reducing my overall paper consumption. As for the automatic air deodorizer and EWATER+ features, I haven't noticed a significant difference, but their presence doesn't detract from the overall performance.The wireless remote control is intuitive to use, and the included mount allowed me to place it right next to the toilet.The seat itself is comfortable to sit on, and despite being a sizable unit, the overall design is aesthetically pleasing and fits well in my bathroom. The SoftClose lid and seat are a nice touch.While the price reflects its quality, the Toto Washlet C5 stands out among other bidets I've tried.I recommend the Toto Washlet C5 to anyone looking to upgrade their bathroom experience. It cleans exceptionally well, offers fantastic comfort with its heated seat and water, and feels like a high-quality, durable appliance. It's an investment that pays off in daily comfort and hygiene.

I had family members encouraging me to try bidets, so after years of ignoring their suggestions, I finally relented and bought one. I had never tried a bidet before, but I was pretty sure that I didn't want a basic one without bells and whistles, so I settled on the Toto C5. Installation was incredibly simple, with everything needed included in the kit. The biggest issue was getting an outlet close enough to plug in the bidet, which was ultimately also a relatively simple solution by snaking an extension cord under the vanity. I chose the C5 with its hand-held remote over the C2 which has a control panel affixed to the right side of the bidet. Good choice, as it seems to be much easier to access the functions without having to twist to find the right buttons to push on the C2 panel. The features of the bidet are functional and thoughtful. The features are well described in the product information, so no point in repeating them here, other than to say that they all function as described. Since I had never used a basic cold water, non electric bidet, I can't compare the C5 against anything else, other to say that I can't imagine using anything less than the one that I purchased. The heated seat, warm water, and warm air drying are amazing, and the deodorizing & self cleaning appear to work well. If you prefer to not have heated seat and water available 24X7, it also has an Auto Energy Saving mode, which detects periods of infrequent use. This also seems to work well in my first few weeks of use. The warm water reservoir provides heated water for about 60 seconds, then gradually gets cooler. For me, this is sufficient, as it heats up again fairly quickly if needed. The more expensive K300 model provides unlimited hot water if that is a requirement. The Toto C5 has made me a convert to bidets, and I really have no desire to use a standard toilet seat again unless there is no choice.

Impressive this TOTO C5 bidet, well thought out design, installs easy. it works like magic.Must have electrical hook up to make it work.

PROS:The unit is excellent..The remote control is simple and straightforward to set up.The water pressure is good. I was concerned that it would not be strong enough, but it does the job, and I'm not even using the highest setting.The heated seat and hot air drying vent are added benefits. Maybe not right now in the heat of summer, but it will be fantastic in the winter.I could go on about the various features, but ultimately, it's an excellent unit.Once you have all of the necessary elements, installation is quite simple. Disclaimer: I am not a plumber.CONS:My only complaint and the only reason I am giving it a 4 and not a 5 is because the THU6234 T-connector does not fit the inlet of my toilet's water tank. It was too large for it. I had to buy a separate item to connect the unit’s water supply line directly to the water intake line from the wall.
