Amazing quality and speed!
I usually don't write reviews, but I felt this product deserved some attention, especially to help other people struggling with Wi-Fi coverage at home. After moving to a place well served with fast fibre broadband, I subscribed to a 200Mbps plan and can't complain about it. However, getting the benefits of this internet speed around the whole house (two floors) was quite challenging. I spent months trying to find a decent solution that would not require me to cable the house with ethernet.Having my connection entry point on the ground floor and my office on the first floor was a big issue. I knew that a mesh solution would be the best for wireless coverage and mobility at home, but I *really* didn't want to pull cables even to the access points.I had used powerline (ethernet over electrical cables) solutions from other brands in the past, with limited success and much lower speeds. After doing my internet research on Devolo and this product, I decided to give it a try.My only regret was not having tried it earlier :)After receiving the kit three days ago, I took a quick lunch break, rushed and plugged the equipment into far-below-optimal conditions: double-chained power extensions on the ground floor, a single power extension on the first floor. I knew I had only myself to blame if anything went wrong. To my surprise, after completing the setup of the mesh and turning off the WiFi on my original router, I immediately noticed a huge improvement in several devices at home, what I confirmed later with metrics showing stable speeds slightly over 200Mbps anywhere in the house! Even my Ring doorbell stopped "stuttering".Fabulous product! Super fast and stable powerline and WiFi. Well engineered and spot-on for what I needed. Thanks Devolo!

Superior connectivity over cable and WiFi, but setup not easy
I had been using TP Link devices, to get cable bandwidth over my mains sockets at the other end of my house to where the router is located. However, I started to get low signal strength and disconnecting, which rendered them useless. Having done some research, I decided to take the plunge, and try these powerline devices. Initial setup failed completely, so I decided to follow the manual process for pairing the devices, which worked perfectly. I did notice you must have them not all on the same circuit, especially if there are lots of other mains devices connected, as it will cause a weak signal warning over the cables. I placed the 2 Wi-Fi/LAN devices in the same sockets where my TP-Link devices were, and they both connected to the device at the router end perfectly. To configure the Wi-Fi on them, I strongly recommend you download the app 'Devolo Cockpit' onto your mobile first. It will automatically detect the Wi-Fi and allow you to configure and make changes to SSID and password, so you will not need the key from the back of the devices. It is a brilliant app, and easy to use, but sometimes you need to keep re-connecting until it recognises the devices, so be patient. I get nearly 100MB on Wi-Fi, and full bandwidth of 200MB over the cables. Expensive, but well worth the money, as you are paying for superior performance and signal quality.

Expensive and not a reliable product
I have had this product for a number of months now, and not managed to get consistent internet connectivity from these adapters. They continually drop internet access for no apparent reason, my other devolo products never did this continually like these do. I am not able to use these adapters at all since they are inconsistent and totally unreliable, and put them back in the box. I think they are faulty but as i bought these from warehouse not sure if I can ask for a replacement or not.

Yeh... decent. Headache to set up.
Once set up. Wasn't quite a mesh network. Our devices would always be without wifi for a few minutes when It moved from one transmitter to the other. But other than that. Signal strong, speeds good, connection stable. Now, the set up. Took two people working for two days to get it set up. The instructions were super simples. Didn't get it done. Then we started looking online. Loads of different way of doing it. We did some hybrid set up where we kind of just felt it out in the ends. That need up working. Just. All official instructions were pretty dire. Not helped by the fact we were afraid setting this up so call centres etc were not of much use.

Good speed but does occasionally have connections issues
I've used the Devolo Mesh Wi-Fi 2-2400 Starter Kit with my BT Hub for quite a few months now, not without issue. The kit is easy to install with clear instructions, you need to plug them next to each other and near a router to start with in order to connect. They can clone the router information to make it easier to set up and use the Wifi with the same router settings, the easiest way to use them around the house. Each of the two units can supply WIFI from their location but one will obviously need to be near to the router anyway, so it's best to turn off the wifi on this one. The app makes it fairly easy to go through and do this as well as set up a useful guest network if your router doesn't have this option already, You can choose to keep the same details so phones and other items connect automatically between the different signals or you can make an entirely new connection if needed. I've found that the one I placed downstairs (my router is upstairs in the study) has issues with my iPhone every so often on the same network, changing it and letting it connect to a different network name to my router helped here but obviously it's not as smooth as keeping a connection. The powerline side of things is far easier, you simply plug in a LAN cable on the end of the unit in a room you need to have ethernet in and off you go. It's been pretty stable where others have failed and on a 1 gigabit connection it manages 300-400Mbps on average (it will really depend on your electrical wiring and any interference). As I said, there have been occasional issues with dropping connection, though this happened a lot more before I went in to settings and changed both the channels and the sleep mode (some devices, such as Smart TVs, don't like the sleep and wake function on powerline units). I did try customer service once but never got through.Overall, a solid package with some issues on constant connectivity, which I've found happens to all powerline units from time to time. Still not perfect but certainly one of the fastest I've used so far.
