The kit includes two tapes and end plugs, making it a lightweight, professional-grade upgrade for any bike handlebar. ## Description Tempo are bar tapes designed for an unparalled performance, durability and versatility of use. Microtex is the thinnest option for pin-sharping handling and control. The classic touch is a durable perforated leather-like texture, with traditional aesthetic and smooth surface slide easily to different riding positions. Review: Thin tape, as it should be - I've bought this tape before so knew what I was getting in to. This is not thick padded cushy tape. If that's what you want, look elsewhere. This is thin low-profile tape, but with Fizik quality. Its great. If you want to wrap your bars with low-key non-bulging tape, then this is the ticket. I've tried all manner of bar tape and keep coming back to this style, and Fizik in general. I've found that this thin tape is just as comfortable if not more and I like the solid feel of the bars just underneath the tape. If you have aero-shaped bars then this tape makes even more sense: the aesthetic of thin tape on a bike with nice lines is, to me, the only way to go. This tape isn't super grippy, but its not slippery: its a nice balance. I can slide my hands to different positions on the bars easily, but never have the feeling of slipping. The thin and slight stretch to the material also make these very easy to wrap. I'm an old school figure-8 bar wrap person and don't ever need the extra piece of tape to cover the lever clamps because of how I wrap the hoods and this tape makes that extra 'bend' in the wrap very easy. If you're looking at this tape, give it a go. I can almost guarantee you won't be disappointed. If you're used to the big fat 3+mm cushy tape, why not try this out and see. You might be surprised how good thin tape can actually feel. Review: Great quality - I've never wrapped my own bars before - Really easy to fit and looks great once finished. The quality of the tape is excellent. ## Features - A performance bar tape made with Microtex - Classic touch has a durable perforated leather-like texture - Smooth surface helps to slide easily into different hand positions - 2 Bar end plugs included - Included components: 2 x bar tapes and end plugs ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07HXVVJ7L | | Adhesive Format | Strip | | Adhesive Material | Microtex | | Best Sellers Rank | #26,404 in Sporting Goods ( See Top 100 in Sporting Goods ) #40 in Bike Handlebar Tape | | Brand | Fizik | | Brand Name | Fizik | | Color | Black | | Colour | Black | | Compatible Material | Leather | | Configuration | Microtex construction 2mm thick, Classic touch | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 1,025 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 08021890466600 | | Grip Size | 2 mm | | Included Components | 2 x bartape and end plugs | | Item Length | 9 Inches | | Item Thickness | 2 Millimeters | | Item Type Name | Handlebar Tape | | Item Weight | 0.08 Pounds | | Item Width | 4.5 Inches | | Manufacturer | Highway Two, LLC. | | Material | Microtex | | Material Type | Microtex | | Model | BT10000A00032 | | Number of Items | 2 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Lightweight | | Part Number | BT10 A00032 | | Recommended Uses For Product | Bicycle Handlebar | | Recommended uses for product | Bicycle Handlebar | | Size Name | 2mm | | Special features | Lightweight | | Surface Recommendation | Leather | | Tensile Strength | 50 Pounds | | UPC | 080218904666 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Water Resistance Level | Water Resistant | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Fizik - **Colour:** Black - **Material:** Microtex - **Number of Items:** 2 - **Recommended uses for product:** Bicycle Handlebar ## Images ![Tempo Bar tape Microtex Classic,Black,2mm - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71YPPiQ8hwL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size, Style** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thin tape, as it should be *by T***T on 8 July 2020* I've bought this tape before so knew what I was getting in to. The quality of the tape is excellent. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good but not great *by H***L on 4 December 2023* Nice texture, grippy but not too rough, though it feels kinda slippery in the rain. I personally find the thickness just right for road riding. Unfortunately the edges are very prominent which negatively affects both comfort and (IMO) aesthetics, and might also accelerate wear and tear. The tape is also on the short side. Overall, decent for the (discounted) price but I probably won't get it again. ## Frequently Bought Together - Fizik Performance Bicycle Bar Tape - Soft, Tacky & Classic Professional Bike Handlebar Tape (2mm, 2.7mm, 3mm) - Planet Bike Century Gel Pads for Bike Handlebar Tape - REDSHIFT Cruise Control Drop Bar Grips for Road Bike Handlebars, fits All Drop Bar Handlebars for Road, Gravel and Fixie Bicycles, Ergonomic Comfort Cycling Accessory --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ma/products/284121693-tempo-bar-tape-microtex-classic-black-2mm](https://www.desertcart.ma/products/284121693-tempo-bar-tape-microtex-classic-black-2mm) --- *Product available on Desertcart Morocco* *Store origin: MA* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
