Very good set of lights so far. They seem very durable and we love the brightness. They look like they will last a long time. I am very interested in them NOT BLOWING/GOING OUT like all other brands have in the past. Also, good to know the warranty requests from others have been fulfilled with no questions asked. Hopefully we have found a set that do not go out like others.

I originally bought a few sets of these cafe lights for our regular tailgate events since the rugged bulb cover seemed like it would hold up to the beating of being put up and taken down regularly. So far they have worked perfectly in that scenario.When I decided to put some cafe lights up in my back yard (permanent installation, hanging from support cable, etc.) I decided to buy some more of these same lights. They look great and put out just the right amount of light without being over powering.Recently, one of my strands started failing. One light after another started flickering and then was dead. After four years I was ready to simply replace them but I decided to try contacting the company directly and they held good to their Lifetime Bulb guarantee. I sent them a picture of the failing strand and my original receipt from my amazon order history and less than a week later a replacement strand arrived at my house.The other stands I installed at the same time are all still fine, so I'm hoping the failed one was a fluke, but if not I feel much better knowing the company will backup its product.

These lights are very nice. The quality looks and feels very high. The clear "bulb" portion is super thick and I suspect they are very hard to break. I have seen lights that look like these in retail big box stores at a lower price, but those were incandescent not LED. These are LED and the color is a warm white (yellow tinge) which is exactly what I wanted. My only caution would be to support these lights if you are not going to use a screw at every bulb. I'm sure you could skip every other bulb or something but long spans seem like a bad idea. I hung mine with zip ties from vinyl coated steel cable since I wanted to have them span long distances between trees and under a pergola. The string's wire is very strong but also heavy, and I would be concerned about a connection breaking over time if they were not attached at each bulb or hung from a strong cable. Wind and ice can be very hard on things. A huge plus for me is that they can be plugged in "end to end" since I only have power available at one point and I wanted to control them all via an iDevices outdoor switch so I could turn them on or off with my iPhone or Apple Watch. Everyone goes "oooh" or "ahhhh" when I turn these on at night by saying "Siri turn on the yard lights". I plan to buy more.At the time of this review, I've only had these lights for a few months. I will update after I've owned longer.

My first impression upon picking up the box was how much weight they had to them. 3 ¾ pounds to be exact. Up to this point my only reference to café lighting was a set I had seen that was very lite weight; like a string of Christmas lights with a very thin plastic globe. I didn’t get the same sense of quality as I immediately did with GE’s LED version, (although, the others may have been intended for indoor use and thus, would naturally be lighter weight).While at my workbench, I removed the twist ties and began unrolling the cord. The end light flopped down pretty hard on the garage floor. It took a pretty bad hit and I wondered if the globe was cracked or if the bulb was damaged. I inspected for damage and saw nothing, plugged them into a power strip and they all worked just fine. As thick as the globes are, nothing short of major trauma is going to break these, which is good because in the process of installing them, they took quite a beating being dragged across the deck and all.At 24 feet, the string of 12 lights perfectly navigated our upstairs balcony above the patio deck. Distancing between bulbs was two feet and each bulb is easily hung by a small nail, or, the lights can be hung from a cable which can be strung through the mounting holes.As rock hard as the bulbs are I wondered if the illumination would be restricted by the thickness of the plastic. It wasn’t. The bulbs have great clarity but aren’t so bright that they kill the mood of an outdoor gathering.I especially like that the open end of the light cord can be sealed with an attached snap-cap. Don’t know how tight it is in a hard rain but it will work to keep water out.Pros: Construction, illumination, simple installationCons: Not a bad thing but the Cord is commercial grade and somewhat rigid. Will install best on a warm day.It would be good if these were offered with green and / or brown cords.Conclusion: I’m very impressed by the high quality and the overall illumination the lights provide. I’m assuming the longevity and energy savings of LED bulbs will offer high performance for a long long time.Full disclosure: I received a set of these complimentary in exchange for an impartial review.

Excelente producto, compre tres piezas, una salió dañada pero me la remplazaron.

I installed this 48 foot 24 light Cafe string lights suspended on wire strand from my house chimney to a large tree and from there to a cedar tree. They look great and provide very attractive ambient lighting on my back yard, patio and deck. I plan to leave them during the winter and trust that they will last for many years as they are commercially rated and guaranteed. Time will tell.

These lights have worked great on my 12'x14' pergola. A string of only 12 bulbs arranged across a 4'x4' square pattern beautifully illuminates the central space - and even the peripheries of the pergola - such that people sitting around a large table can easily see each other's facial expressions, while maintaining the ambiance of night. Like a campfire.I had considered getting the string of 24 bulbs, but I'm glad I stuck with only 12 bulbs for my 12'x14' pergola.The bulbs themselves are stylish yet discrete; they feel very hardy and impact resistant.The entire construction feels durable and of high quality.
