nice product and very well priced. Installed in a 1993 GMC 1500. The included wiring, antenna adapter all worked perfect. Trouble free install. The color is a match to original pretty well, but my dash was faded from time, no fault of this product. You do have to move your dash vents and springs to this unit,and I had to open up the hole for the vents to pivot on. no big deal.

Right fit and good color match

This is a well made, quality replacement part that made my aftermarket radio install a breeze. It looks better than factory. I bought this in red and it is a perfect match to my 1994 Silverado. It's even nicer looking than the original because the texturing goes all the way around the vent openings. Couldn't be happier. It is slightly different than the picture in that the radio opening is wide open (does not have 'knob' openings...which is a good thing. You will use the metal mounting cage that comes with your new radio, and lock it into place by bending it's metal tabs so it grabs the surround for a tight install. Install tip for the vent wire clips: when installing your original vents back into this new unit, beware that the wire vent clips MUST be reinstalled. The only way to get the vent wire clips reinstalled is to push the vent clips and the vent together into place AS ONE UNIT - do not push the vent into place first then think you'll come back and push the clip wire in - that WON'T WORK. Vent install steps: push the opposite end of the vent into the frame indent, then gently, as one unit, push the clip and vent down together into the slot. The fit will be very tight until you use a needle-nosed plier to set the wire ends into the receptacle holes. You must gently guide the ends of the clip wires into each hole - do NOT skip this step. Also, the lower clips from the original part must be pulled off the original and installed on the new one - BEWARE: there are barbs on those clips that make them grip the plastic, so you'll need a very small screwdriver to gently release the barbs from the plastic and wiggle them off the original dash component. The new unit is a PERFECTLY sized so just push those clips onto the new. The wiring harness is made well, and the compartment item (black) is made nicely too.

Good fit and finish. Color was very close. Worked out very well to install a media player.

The fit wasn't exactly perfect, and my vents don't fit very well. The cubby pocket was a great fit and easy to install. Wiring harness was perfect. The slot for a head unit was to narrow and I couldn't get the metal tabs on the sleeve to get tight so I had to improvise. But all and all for the price, I'd buy again!
