OXO products are always high quality. Not only do these do the job but I won't be having to replace them because they break easily in the way other brands do. I would even include this with hostess gifts or along with other items at showers.

These clips are perfect for rice, pasta and large bags. Fits perfectly and holds tight! Great product!

These clips were way better than I expected or hoped for!! Nice strong materials. (Not like the other cheap thin plastic that is crooked or warped and doesn't line up good with crappy weak springs that have disappointed me in the past.) These are durable and strong!! Good thick quality plastic clamps fitted with an added attached tapered insert that line up perfectly for a great grip!! The insert isn't a hard slippery plastic, but has an almost pliable feel which baffles me a little as it appears to actually grab onto itself when I open and close it a few times, almost like they are magnetic! (I don't think they actually are though.) This awesome grip is facilitated by a nice strong quality spring. Strong, but not so strong that it is hard to squeeze. The little blue "donut" looking rings inserted into the handle seem similar to the material used for the clamp insert, which gives your fingers something to grip when squeezing a strong spring. Nice touch! Taking a few pictures: From the top so you can see the good spring configuration. Head on so you can see the "donut" insert with the grip-able material. From the bottom so you can see how well the the 2 sides meet and come together. From the side so you can see the clever tapered blue gripping insert that gives the clamp an additional flat surface clamping bonus to keep your bag sealed with the best seal. (Whatever designer came up with this clip's design and that insert, OXO needs to give them a raise!!) Hoping Amazon will let me also load the video I shot of these wonderful clips in action! I have a 6.6 pound bag of prescription dry cat food that has very thick, good quality bag with a shiny, slippery surface. The thick bag material is great for keeping that much dry food fresh long, but the zip lock itself failed and detached from the bag. I rolled that bag down 4 times! Clamped it with the OXO clip, and grabbing onto just one of the handles, lifted that bag up with no problem! Weighed the bag since I had already fed her some and it was just below 6 pounds (5.95 lbs). Hmmmmm, after waiting more than 10 minutes for my 51 sec video shot with my Fire Hd8 Kindle to load, it's still buffering so I guess it's a no go. Maybe too long? So instead I will load pictures showing how thick the 4 folds are. Then a shot of the bag being lifted by holding just one handle. So you can see it's actually being lifted, I placed the towel (clipped up with the smaller sizes OXO clips) to the back drop behind the bag. Also since the shadow made it hard to tell it's being lifted, I placed my empty honey butter dish under it and lighted behind the bag with my newly acquired "Magicfly 10x 5x, 1x LED Travel Makeup Mirror" from Amazon that my honey just gifted me yesterday! A little praise for his thoughtfulness! Who knew it was gonna come in handy for this today! (No flash on the Kindle!) I was curious, and wanted to see how long the clip would hold on to that 6lb bag. I lifted it for 20 seconds... Before MY ARM gave out!! 😆 I'm sure the clip wouldn't have been too far behind as the bag is heavy and shiny/slick, so only a matter of time before those factors took hold. Plus, that's pretty much beyond the call anyway! Hope my review helps. I was shopping for frying pans and saw that Amazon asked me how I liked my purchase of the OXO Clips, so I decided to answer. I was not paid for this review, nor did I get the product free. I do wish I bought more than the 2 though, and am adding it to my cart now! It had already earned a permanent place in my "Kitchen/Cooking Wish List". BTW... The magnetic medium sized clips and the teeny tiny magnetic clips are also great!

The product is very sturdy and good quality but still feels too expensive.Probably because it is coming from USA. I would buy again.
