Advertised as all natural bird safe. This was enclosed in two plastic bags. As soon as I opened the inner bag, it had a strong odor like kerosene or paint thinner. Would not trust buying this product again, Safe bird toys should not have any odor other than the smell of fresh wood.

I probably should have known better , but I needed a quick toy for my cockatoo ... He loves the bright colors and loves to chip away at wooden blocks... When this arrived it was a LOT smaller than I thought, it also had fewer pieces hanging from it than the one in the photo. In less than 10 hrs he snapped it into pieces and there was hardly anything left to play with -the cord it's on is VERY thin.So much for this one

Okay, I have a macaw. I purposely look for toys that will at least last a few days. It's her supreme delight and joy in life to tear them up, but that is healthy for her and helps her dexterity and her beak. This one lasted less than one day, though :( I just wish if it's "marketed" for macaws, it would be a little sturdier for macaws.

The ladder is not 21 inches long, only coming out to a little longer than a foot and was therefor not a good fit for our African Grey's large cage. It cannot stretch all the way across the cage as I intended, not even short-ways. But our bird seems fond of it already, albeit not for the reason I had anticipated; his enjoyment of the product is honestly more important than mine anyway.Very soon after posting my original review, Bvanki contacted me via email to try and help remedy the issue, expressing how disappointed they were that a faulty item may have been sold to a customer. I would just like to point out how excellent and thoughtful their customer service integrity is, and to thank them for taking their customers' issues very seriously. Our Grey and I appreciate it greatly.

Just received my toy for my African Grey,put together with the rest of her toys she immediately started playing with it,usually will take a week when I introduce her to a new toy, for the money it's a great buy,she started to pluck i was going to take her to the vet but before I did that i took out all of herOld toys and replaced them with cool vibrant colors, slowly she stopped plucking,instead she started to chew her new toys, I bought them all on Amazon 100$ worth of new toys and it did the trick,guess she was bored,so with that said she's one happy camper and so am I

This is a fun toy for my birds. Very colorful and they can climb on it, chew on the wood, hang from it etc.. the one negative thing is the plastic chain isn't very strong and will come apart when pulled on very easily. If they could find stronger chain it would be much better and avoid a falling accident waiting to happen.

Disappointed - the description suggests this is suitable for macaws and cockatoos, however... I laughed when I opened the package - the seller's description certainly fooled me. I gave it to my geriatric Amazon parrot, who is quite gentle with toys, and it will serve her well for a few weeks. My umbrella cockatoo will have to wait until I can order her some true 'too toys, not this miniature version. Don't get it unless your "cocaktoo" is a cockatiel, or your macaw is a Severe or Yellow-Collar or other mini-macaw variety (or in fact a conure!).

I would give this a five star but the slightly misleading image icon shows a Macaw, I got this for our blue and gold Macaw and i can say it is likely not large enough for a macaw. I would say it's probably good size for a conure or parakeet or cockatiel but it's pretty small for a Macaw. The small beads also seem a little dangerous given they're small enough to be swallowed whole. Still not a bad toy for the price I just would recommend if you get this for a macaw to cut the beads off it.
