Expensive but … is surprisingly lighter than the braid back-up which helps when casting a bunch. I bought it to help with distance casting but I barely ever cast all my fly line; thus, this purchase was mostly wishful thinking.

Plastic String (Spend the extra cash and get something better)
I had high hopes for this line but immediately upon spooling it onto my real it was full of twists that permanently damages the line, and possibly its integrity. I tried to unspool and reapply the line to my reel, trying to pull out and unkink the twists, but it kept balling up and getting knotted. Not even worth the risk out on the water. Sent back for full refund and decided to go with RIO elite shooting line, full floating, fluorocarbon based material. Worth the cost to have a product that will make a good day on the water rather than a miserable one.
