YS Park Ion Diffuser (Made in Japan) In Black - Size SMALL

I love this thing! I have had a bazillion diffusers over the years, mostly ones that come with the hair dryers I buy. Well I finally invested in a good, and expensive hair dryer, but it didn't come with a diffuser attachment. I emailed the company and they said they recommend this diffuser to go on their dryer. I was concerned when I saw the negative reviews but got it anyway, and I'm glad I did. It fits the dryer very well and stays on just fine, even on high. The one I got which apparently is a newer design, has no cord that you pull around the back of the dryer to keep it on. It simply stays on with elastic. I absolutely love that this takes up basically no room to store in a bathroom drawer, vs the huge plastic bulky things I'm used to dealing with. And, it does a fantastic job drying my curly hair without any frizz. Love it.

The Small doesn’t come with adjustable strap(s) to keep it secure as indicated in the photo & description. It flies right off the dryer when it’s turned on, so it’s basically unusable. Disappointed & returning.

I'm only giving it a 3 star because I wanted to exchange it for a larger size and the store (not Amazon) wouldn't accept an exchange. Very disappointed about that.Other than that it functions really well and fits onto any blowdryer. That's what I like about it. It also keeps my curls coiled.

Slips off of my hair dryer sometimes. The pull string does nothing. I have to pull it on as far as it can go.The mesh cover slows down the stream of air from the dryer. There is still some convection, but you feel mostly the heat radiation. Looks like it helps control my frizz by not tossing the hair as much while it is drying. It takes about the same amount of time to dry too!The mesh gets very hot and can burn you if you aren't careful.

Tried it a couple pie of times and gave up. Slides and falls off.

The description said it had straps to hold onto the hairdryer...it came without straps. The diffuser at times does come off, so that is frustrating. Other than that though, it does work and will be great for travelling.
