The series has been a blast and this is one of my favorites. When you take talented teachers and ask them to come up with a “course” via book and downloadable audio, I don’t think you can do better.The pieces start out simple enough, but expand enough to be challenging and fun. I like the lack of pretension that the series carries. It helps your playing get through dry spells when you want to play more, but need more material to explore. I can’t more highly recommend trying one of the many different offerings from the Fundamentals series.

I am mostly an electric player, but was enchanted with the sample of downloads to try this new acoustic style, and this book is the 'bible' to Celtic guitar, in my immediate view. It takes a capable player from the basics of the style, toward playing beautiful music for personal or professional purposes. Well done, and thank you Fundamental Changes!

Like all books form this publisher there is an online support page which provides audio (and in some cases video) so that you can hear how particular sections should sound when you play them. Website details are included in every book. This book provides some guidance on the more tricky sections at the start of each tune so that it is easier to practice those and get the whole peice sounding good. Most of the tunes in the book use non-standard guitar tuning (DADGAD and others) so if you're new to this then perhaps a little practice on re-tuning would be a worthwhile exercise before really trying to get stuck in.
