This is one of my favorite Amazon orders in a while. My husband and I cook with a lot of veggies, and recently decided to start a composting pile in our backyard. This bin is just the right size to keep in the kitchen...since it's just two of us, it takes a couple days at a time of cooking before we have to empty it but during that time, the filter and the lid keep any odors in check. With its outer handle, it's portable enough that I can move it around the kitchen easily to wherever I'm prepping dinner. Then, when it is time to empty it, all you do is pull the inner bin out and then give it a good rinse afterwards to clean it. Easy peasy! Plus it looks super cute and blends in really well with my kitchen decor. As a bonus, it comes with three replacement filters for the lid. What's not to love? This is a wonderful product and I only wish I'd ordered it sooner!

We use this daily - looks nice on the counter, and helps us maintain compost. If using bags, note they can become difficult to get out if overly full.

Pros: - Overall look (nice green color, positive message) - Removable inner bucket that I also hope may be replaceable if it gets too smelly - Designed with carbon odor shield in lid (and inclusion of extra carbon pads) - Outer bucket's hoop handle, easy to clip to edge of steel utility island drawer so that bin is convenient to reach without taking up counter space. - Thoughtful inclusion of hoop handle on inner bin as well Minor cons: - A bit of a challenge to get inner bucket out of outer bin (helps to brace front of bin against leg and press on back edge with one hand while using other hand to remove bucket) - Somewhat small for significant compost from home juicing in addition to other compost

Just got this and I love it in my kitchen! Great pop of color and perfect size.

This is the second one we've ordered. Perfect size. Don't want one that is bigger and smells. Thus does not. I removed the inner bucket and use biodegradable bags. This leaves more room. I live the video review that gave it a 1star. Said it was junky and not centered, yet their video definitely wasn't centered as the filming came out upside down. Good work.

I like this little bin. It’s cute on my countertop. Easy to open and clean though it doesn’t hold as much as stated. The charcoal filter works to reduce any smell but it seems impossible to find this size (5.3”) filter anywhere. I’m not looking forward to buying and cutting filters to fit it. I foresee purchasing a different one that holds filters that can be purchased and not cut to fit the bin lid.

Who knew I’d fall in love with a compost bucket.! It’s just the right size for my rather small kitchen counters in our small kitchen. (Hear that husband?) So pretty, & no smell. I also love the handle so I can move it to different areas of my rather small kitchen( are you listening husband?). I definitely recommend. It’s one of the cutest containers/ canisters in my kitchen!

This compost bin is a nice design and cleans well. The filter in the lid stops any smells. Very useful in any kitchen.

Small and does the job. Surprised that it had an inner container which I wanted. Like the colour

Nice looking. The carbon filters could do with being a lot thicker so I use two at a time to prevent flies getting in through the vent holes in hot weather.

Love the color. Very easy to keep clean with the pail insert that easily comes out.

The inner plastic bucket has a handle that is forced into the plastic bucket and causing it to deform. Once it is no long circular, it is difficult to come out of the metal outside bucket. Should use a better method for the inner bucket handle
