As & a Level Biology Through Diagrams. W.R. Pickering (Oxford Revision Guides)

I am a CAPE Biology Teacher and I highly recommend this book to my students. Each topic is summarised in the form of diagrams and flow charts. Some topics are done better than others but overall, it is an excellent revision and teaching guide.

The was bought for a colleague who argues it's helpful for visual learners of A-Level Edexcel Biology, as it aids teaching through the use of flow charts and diagrams,Students do seem to respond well to the book, with one telling me that it helps her "see" the subject better.

Brilliant and on time too

A very good book which covers the OCR syllabus as well as others. It's a good way for students to revise/summarise a topic once they've studied it, or been taught it in school.

Mint condition, arrived in good time- worth it. The information in the book is very useful in that it offers compact info yet not losing out on the level of understanding needed. Just ensure you know what exam board your place of education uses and look at that. However is compatible.
