Will this fit the Kindle 7, which I believe is 4.5” wide?

looked up dimensions for "kindle 7 dimensions" and got "Amazon Kindle Fire Wifi 7" Specs: 189 x 120 x 12 mm (7.44 x 4.72 x 0.45″) the minimum span this thing will do is 120mm, or about 4 5/8" or 4.625, but the tabs do extend in about a centimeter so you've got that to play with if it's a little smaller. Based on that, I think it will work - it's probably worth trying. [side note - the max width it can hold is around 19cm (>7") but i modified it to fit an ipad that's over 22cm by peeling back the back pad and removing a button that stops it from expanding, then reinforcing it with a hair band. Could also have cut and welded in another strip of plastic.

Will a kindle fire hd 10 work with this mount?

Since the Fire HD 10 size specs are: 9.73” x 6.53” x 0.36” (247mm x 166mm x 9.2 mm) and the mount opens to 7.5", I would think so.

Would this hold an iPad that has a case on it?

I use it with 9.7 iPad Pro. It has an otter box on it. I did remove some of the cushions on the mount but it still works great. I bought another 1 because I left the 1st one on my car. 🤪

Will this fit an iPad seven generation?

At 9.8in x 6.8in for the iPad seventh generation, it can hold up to 7.25 in, but not the largest dimension - so limited to only one orientation.
