An exceptional product
I have to admit I did not have high expectations for this product, but I have to admit I am exceptionally pleased. If you read one star reviews you would have doubts but I strongly suggest you ignore them. I have only recently needed to buy a head shaver so I did some research and this Freebird is competitively priced and sells in high quantities. Over 25,000 people have taken the trouble to review this shaver and the vast majority are very satisfied. It comes to you in a tamper proof box so you you know it has not been used and it does everything it promises. I am completely satisfied as it has shaved my head as good as a professional. Some people have had problems with charging so I guess I will have to wait and see on that. For now it absolutlely deserves a 5 STAR rating. if you need to know more there are some excellent videos availabe on line.

Stopped working after 5 months
Worked fine at first but stopped working and holding charge after 5 months. Emailed customer service and they sent me a new unit, super nice and responsive. Great product.

Good shave but cleanability could be an issue for you
The product does a nice job, and its contouring capability is definitely a very nice feature. The shave seems pretty even, but it is not as close as a razor. It also does a nice job of containing the shaved hair, which was also an advertised advantage. What I don't like - The advertisement that resulted in my purchasing this product was to be able to do my back. Actually, my wife does it for me because I can't reach across my entire back. I do not shave my head. So the hair that I am shaving on my back is not a single day's growth. The hair might be closer to 1/8"-1/4" long. While the product is very capable and does a nice job cutting that length of hair, the cleanability of the product for that condition is really horrible. It does not give you good access to the blades if you need to remove hair of the length I am speaking of. While the cutting only took a few minutes, I put in a good 45 minutes plus trying to clean the hairs from the blades. Even after that time, I could not get all the hair out. So, for my purposes, if I rate this product on cleanability for how I had purchased it for use, I would not even rate it one star.I do not want to shave my back daily to avoid this. If you shave every day, this design would clean up just fine. If you shave every 2-3 weeks, and like a clean razor, each time you shave, you will be disappointed like me. I have not tried any of the attachments yet. Right now, I would recommend for frequent use, would not recommend for less than frequent use, but that stems from the cleanability factor.

Good shaver, possessed power button.
Got this shaver in July of 2024 and we're not quite at the year mark. It does a great job at shaving and the battery lasts through quite a few sessions of shaving. On the bad side, the blade assembly is cheaply made and don't be surprised if the middle blade set just falls out randomly...one of the tiny plastic legs will have broken (just recently purchased a replacement head to fix that). Over the last few days, the shaver acts as though it's possessed...it turns on randomly and, sometimes, cannot be turned off (the button doesn't work). In fact, I can hear it running in the bathroom right now as I write this...it's really random and rather annoying. During the random power-on events, it will sometimes turn itself off, but not always. I don't know if water somehow got into it or if the power button is just too cheap. It's still a decent shaver, but I'll have to keep it at the other side of the house so it's random power-on events quit waking me up at night.

Great shaver
I bought this razor not sure about how it would do. I use this thing almost everyday. I have found the shower is the best place. It cuts wet hair better than dry for some reason. Now it doesn’t get as close as a razor cut, but it gets really close. Plus it’s faster than shaving. I use it on my head and face.

Love it!
Over the last 2+ decades I've used both a 0-guard electric razor and a straight blade to shave my head. Most recently it's been the razor, which I've been using for 8 or 9 years. Earlier this year I was injured and was unable to shave my head, so I picked up one of these things to keep my head tidy. I'm glad i did!Using this thing to shave is so much more convenient than the razor blade - I can shave on demand, with no need to shower and heat up my skin first. There's no mess from shaving cream and nothing to clean up after-the-fact... the hairs get caught into the shaving assembly (unlike using a zero guard electric). You can literally shave, fully dressed, and not worry about hair getting all over your clothes. The shave isn't quite smooth as shaving with a razor blade, but it's very close (way closer than using a 0 guard)... your head LOOKS clean shaved but if you touch it, it's like a 6 hour post shave roughness. I usually shave dry, but I think a wet shave might get closer. The convenience factor more than makes up for the slightly less smooth shave. One thing to note, if you're new to these kinds of devices - Clean out the blade assembly every few shaves, especially if you let your hair get a little longer between shaves. I tend to shave every-other-day and take mine completely apart and clean out the blades with a toothbrush (the cleaning brush that comes with the kit isn't great) every couple weeks, sometimes sooner, if I feel like the cut isn't great. On a support aspect - I had a problem with my device a few months after purchasing it - Freebird made it right, with very little hassle.
