I love Keel's simple diary. First of all, it's a nice looking book - it comes in a variety of bright colors and has a retro sort of appearance to it. And secondly, it's funny - it's filled with witty questions, surveys, etc. for you to fill out, and has a great style and voice to it.I have been an avid journal-keeper my entire life, but have never been able to go back and read my old journals. Every time I read old journal entries of mine, I feel embarrassed by them an have to resist the urge to throw away all my journals that hold such intimate, ridiculous thoughts of mine. So, I have boxes of old journals and no desire for myself and especially no one else to ever read them.But this diary is different. It's thought-provoking, and it's fun to look back on past answers and responses you've written. In fact, I don't even mind other people looking through this diary!I bought this diary in the lime green color. It's a very bright, optimistic, limey green. They had these at the Anthropologie by my house, so I almost every color in person and I would say they're very accurate to what you see here in the pictures. I think my second favorite color was the brown - it looks very classic.This also makes a great gift! I've bought ones for friends and they've enjoyed them too. It's definitely a fun little diary, and I'd recommend it!

I like this journal because I think it's fun but some of the questions are strange and I don't know how to answer them. I don't even know what sort of answer they're looking for. So maybe part of the experience is just making things up? I don't think i'm unintelligent and the fact that some of the questions don't make sense makes me think the author was purposely being really random so impress the creative types. I like the journal called "Q & A a Day: 5 Year Journal" much better. It asks a question a day and they're sometimes simple, sometimes thought provoking.

The "Simple Diary" is a funny and funky way of keeping track of your life on a daily basis. Preprinted statements for each day - combined with funny lists of things to esteem or evaluate makes it a daily relaxation to cope with the day.It's very easy to fill in the highlights of the day - even if some of the pre-printed statements are a bit too funky, and maybe hard to understand, for a dane.I like my Simple Diary very much,and use it as an "add-on" to my more substantial diaries.BUY IT!Friis Denmark

this is an interesting experiment. I gave it to the daughter of a friend and I think she liked it. I've tried to keep a journal/diary at various times in my life, and always petered out pretty quickly because I get a little bored writing about my days/problems. I know it's more how I'll enjoy looking back, or how it might help me think things through--doesn't matter, it just never has come naturally. This looked like something I might actually keep doing.

I discovered these gems at a recent meeting. The minute I touched the book, I knew it was high quality. From the feel of the cover to the feel of the paper, the book feels 'special'. In addition, the messages, quotes, and challenges to your normal stream of everyday thought are great! You can keep one of these handy to give yourself a life break at will! The questions are quirky... You'll smile.These are great gifts when you are not quite sure what to buy someone, or just when you want someone to know you are thinking about them.Have fun and enjoy!

I read about the Keel's Simple Diary in an magazine interview with a celebrity who stated how much she looked forward to the end of the day so she could reflect with her diary. I was intrigued and got it, and think it is simply the best! It is quick, simple, thought-provoking, filled with charming quotations and masterly written to help you gain insight about yourself. It is a perfect first step, easy resolution for anyone looking to improve themselves through self-reflection. It makes a thoughtful gift and I have bought several to give friends, a hostess gift or a thank you!

The Simple Diary is a great journaling solution for folks on the go, or who might need a bit of inspiration when summing up their day. I've given multiple copies as gifts, but kept a lime green one for myself. I love the ritual of opening it up each evening, wondering what quirky multiple choice or fill in the blank will be waiting for me.

I love my Keel's diary! It's important for me to write everyday, but sometimes I don't know where to start or where to stop. This is a great outlet for the day's happenings and also for larger thoughts about life.

An obsessive journal keeper I was intrigued by the new Keel's pre-defined journal. It's quirky and fun, and does exactly what it proposes: you write your daily entries by answering the sometimes strange and absurb questions and tick boxes pre-set out on each page. It's even fun getting friends to write out theirs.Quality moleskine feel to the outside with silver leaf outer page design, it even has a pocket in the back cover.An interesting way to keep a dairy which will amuse you each time you fill it in.

I am a bit of a diary addict which is why I bought this book. It is fun but I have to say more for people who don't generally keep a diary to make some sort of record of their thoughts - not for me who like to write reams!!! The questions are very thought provoking but no space to expand - need to have a notebook by your side to finish your entry - but that defeats the object!

this is a great product and makes for a perfect gift. as the name says it is simple and it actually puts the fun back into keeping a diary. plus at it has no dates, you don't have to fill it in daily. all my friends loved it and so do i, so much so i bought the second volume.

I've wanted to keep a journal for years but could not motivate myself to commit to writing an entry a day. This is a great compromise. Lovely product, very insight, funny questions.

I was given a yellow version of this for Christmas and I am loving it. These diaries make writing in it a very exciting activity. I am loving it!
