This item does have a larger size but that comes with how well it functions and the material is plastic but very very durable and it doesn't slip at all when pulling on it and it will put to some hard work with all my keys

I bought this back in '18 and it's currently '24 so it lasted a long time, I think if I didn't yank it, it would've gotten a few more years out of it. It's just bigger than those lighter leashes and holds more than double the weight, I've had a variety of things hanging on this over the years it can definitely hold a lot of weight. I bought a new one so hopefully it lasts just as long or longer!

I bought this product back in November 2019. I am a school custodian/groundskeeper so I use mine quite a few times per day. Unfortunately, this product just broke today. My keys got stuck on the seat belt clip and I hopped off of the tractor seat, in the opposite direction. The string snapped vs my 200lbs self, but the tension was strong enough where I felt it holding me back, as I was jumping until it snapped. Ultimately, I was so impressed with the overall durability of this item, I just now ordered a replacement. It is a must have item if you are a custodian or a profession where you constantly have to open locks. It is so much easier than taking off a carabiner clip or something similar, each time you need to unlock something.

The only reason this did not get 5 stars is because the part that clips on your belt loop broke and I can't seem to find a way to contact the seller about it. Other than that it worked great, this is my 2nd one with the only issue being the clip on this one. Tension is great, holds a lot of keys without sagging.

Overall the retractable mechanisms is pretty god sturdy and well built. However the hook that attaches to you pants broke after a month of my having the item. It also broke without heave use. I alway had it in the same plate and never really took it off.

So far so good. These normally break at the cable where it is attached to the ring. This seems a little better so far. The tension is stronger than most others, seems it could handle a good load of need.

Ok, I hate to write a review on day 1 before you have an idea what the longevity will be like, but I wish I could have recorded my face when I first pulled on the wire. I've had several cheap versions of these and they always break in no time, the last one only in a few weeks, even though I have a measly 5 keys and a small flash drive on it. But as soon as you pull on this you can tell its a different beast. Will update review if it breaks, but I'm confident this is going to last a while.

Item is great quality. I opted for the 20oz pull as I have a lot of keys(20 plus). I think I could have opted for the 16oz pull as it has quite pull on the 20oz sometime you feel like it could pull the keys from you hand.

Great extendable key retention holder, very useful when I need to use certain keys without taking them off. Kevlar string is very strong. I love this product for my work.
