In the package: The locomotive has 6 block pieces that fit easily onto the base The middle train car has 3 rectangular block pieces that fit over two pegs on a separate base The third train car or "caboose" has 6 block pieces that fit over two pegs on its own separate base. 3 of the block for the third car are cube-shaped and look like they have round "windows" 3 of the blocks on the same car are rounded on one side and made to look like a roof. The locomotive and each of the train cars have a wooden base with pegs for holding the block pieces. They also have 4 red wooden wheels each. Each of the train "cars" can be hooked together by placing the hole in the tongue on each base over the peg on the car in front of it.
