The whole thing is pretty janky and you can see the catawampus build quality in the photos. It's already kind of a pain to setup or adjust; the crooked parts exacerbate the problem. That said, once you get it set up, it works. I put my 17 inch work laptop on it. TWO CAVEATS: It's quite high, even at the lowest and still-level setting. If you do not have a fully tilt/telescoping steering wheel, it will probably be very uncomfortable for laptop use. I have to completely drop and recess my steering wheel for this product to be acceptable. Second, the pull out tray is very glossy and makes for a horrible mouse pad for my Logitech mouse (which I believe uses a laser for tracking). I throw a Kleenex on the tray to make the mouse useable. When not in use, I don't bother collapsing it to avoid the hassle of setting it up again.

It's a good little tray for laptops. It feel a little cheap, but I like mine so far. The drawer is nice to use for a mouse as well. It's a little small but gets the job done. Mine does not fit over my steering wheel because I have a cover, but it is fairly universal and mounts fine in the backseat from the headrest stands.

For the price this piece works as well as I expected. It clips over the steering wheel and is easy to move about in my car as needed. My car IS my office so this is perfect!

I did not like the unsteardyness the price of this was way too much for the quality...I do not like anything made in china and I would like to know where it was made BEFORE it ships! Definitely return...the box was all banged up suprising it was not broken
