Crash 4: It's About Time - Nintendo Switch

nice game although not very easy

We got crash 3 and were so frustrated by always dying and having to restart. What is nice about 4 is that you get a gem if you beat it in 3 lives or less. I on average take about 25 lives per level so this game is perfect that I don't need to worry about dying. Also if you die enough they make a box a checkpoint halfway to the next checkpoint. So much more kid friendly and I highly recommend it!! I can waste 2 hours easy on this game and not even realize.

I'm honestly really (pleasantly) surprised how good the port turned out. The resolution dips on handheld at times (particularly on grind sections and in some cutscenes) but the framerate is consistent, I haven't had any lag or dropped inputs; overall it simply works. It is also a little quiet on handheld - I had to turn the volume nearly all the way up to hear everything. But honestly for a (most certainly rushed, I mean c'mon it's Activision after all) port I expected much worse. It's nothing like the NST/SRT ports, and if they had ONLY released this game on switch you'd probably not be able to tell anything was "wrong".That's not even touching on how brilliant and gorgeous this game is in general! The art style is fantastic - honestly no surprise from the devs who made Spyro Reignited - and the platforming is some of the best in the franchise. Some of the collect-a-thon aspects get a little repetitive (N-verted mode especially), but you don't have to 106% the game to enjoy it. I would easily consider it the best game in the franchise. Overall, if you have a switch, and you like Crash Bandicoot, it's a no-brainer: get this game!

The game overall came in great with no delay and a really good price. The game itself (aside from the splash screens) ran way better than I thought it would. You can see many dots in the picture, but they aren't that noticeable if you are just focused on the game (and maybe isn't as apparent on TV mode but I haven't tried that out). Reason I rate it a 4 is the completion part which is outrageous and super difficult. Everything else is great. Highly recommend for a game to challenge your platforming skills.

Finally the sequel this saga deserved, currently played 4 hours and i LOVE IT. The map designs are incredible and beautiful, the gameplay is solid and i haven't experienced any kind of bugs and the new mechanics feel great and organic with the rest of the movement set.The new "flashbacks" levels are my favorite addition, they are literally extreme bonus levels that you will need to clear with skill, timing and brain, the best is that the soundtrack for this levels are the beloved and original crash 1 soundtrack.Finally it looks like the replayability of this game is N.SANE, have to collect all the boxes, have to pass the levels without dying more than 3 times, have to recollect certain quantities of wumpa fruit, time trails and the new inverted mode that adds another 6 gems. So for each level you will have to obtain 12 gems and the relic if you want to 100% complete the game.As a huge fan of Crash since i was 5 years old, thank you Toys for Bob, you nailed it.

O jogo é divertido, ótimo para jogar em família e entre amigos e tem o toque nostálgico pelo fato de ter sido um dos primeiros jogos que joguei no PS ONE.O gráfico também está lindo no Nintendo Switch, já que comparado a outros consoles como PS4, a Nintendo chegou a melhorar a qualidade das sombras do jogo.

On aime beaucoup le personnage. Plein de couleurs. C'est agréable à jouer. On se sent dans l'univers de crash. Les musiques sont sympas. Un jeu technique mais accessibles à tous.

There are already countless reviews and comments on this game on YouTube or other platforms, so the interested reader may address those. As per my experience, I totally loved this game. It is extremely challenging (and sometimes the level design is a bit cheap) but it gave me 120 hours of entertainment to bring it to platinum. The delivery was efficient and the game case and cartridge were in perfect condition.
