I was not sure how significant buying a specifically designed coffee distributor would be. I was already convinced of the benefits of stirring my ground beans before tamping and had fashioned my own tool(s) out of wire and cork. But I have to say, the ergonomic shape and sturdiness of this distributor makes an immediate difference in satisfaction of use. I'm very happy with this simple but elegantly useful product.

I bought this to help even out my espresso shots because I can never get a great result with just the tamper. It does it’s job very well and is sturdy. The weight makes it easy to control and it moves grounds easily.

This WDT tool is well constructed and heavy, nice to hold in the hand. I've determined though that I prefer a WDT tool with thinner, more flexible prongs and with a straight tip. For those who prefer the style of this WDT device, the quality is very good.

Horrible stirring tool. The needles are too thick, the holes then get clogged up, it makes a mess. This thing is not good at all.

This tool is well made from quality materials. It is a poor design for performing proper WDT in the filter basket prior to leveling and tamping. The stir pins are too large in diameter and the loops on the end can create voids in the coffee at the bottom of the filter basket. My grinder tends to form lumps and this tool is of some use in breaking up those lumps in the dosing cup prior to transfer to the filter basket. I made my own WDT tool from a cork and 0.4 mm accupuncture needles. It is much more effective in performing WDT and puck raking.

Does its job. I was constantly seeing channeling prior to using this wdt tool. Post purchase, i’m able to get perfect espresso shots with no channeling. Highly recommend!

Storage with this is the main issue. it will get bent if stored with other things and it doesn't come with anything to help store it away.Works well, but could have 4 or 5 wires. This would definitely improve its performance.

Overall good product. Evens out the grind before we tamp it. Sometimes the prongs get tangled.

Feels very high quality however wish the stirrers were finer to prevent clumping

The needles are too thick and with the added circles at the bottom end up moving the coffee too much rather than leveling it. The coffee just ends up going to one side rather than being spread evenly.

The métal needles are WAY too big to break the clumps properly. I use it for espresso and it doesn't work at all. It creates a mess in the portafilter and it creates more Clumps than anything. Paper clips are way more effective.
