Kellynch: Sequel to Jane Austen's Persuasion Paperback – August 26, 2015

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! How refreshing to find a nice, clean, easy-to-read story that captures heart and mind and ends well! Captain Wentworth's voyage to free the slaves was well-described and enlightening. The author's grasp of such a wide variety of topics and situations is impressive. I recommend this book to all fans of Persuasion and other historical novels.

A Persuasion Variation.

One of the most amazing things in this life is to witness when someone is blessed with incredible talent and then has the courage and strength to work hard to become great. Weather it be sports, music, art, or in this case,writing novels. Kwen is a great writer! In this book, he has taken people that were created in the the 1800's, and has brought them back to life. Once again he puts you in the same time period so you feel it as it happens. He takes you on a journey where you will witness first hand every emotion. I have read 'Persuasion' by Jane Austin, and it helped me alot to understand how life was back then. It might help you to read it, but it is not necessary in order to totally enjoy this book.

This is also a really great read and it made me want to read the Jane Austen book "Persuasion". Kwen seems to tie his characters in so that theywill add to the Jane Austen book written in the 1800's. Since I have tried to review the books, I have read that were written by Mr. Griffeth. I just think that other people would enjoy his books also. He has the ability to make his books read very well so that you do not want to put the book down.

Disappointing, could not get into story

Mr. Gritteth has taken us forward a few years and let us see where the happy couple is and what has happened since they have married. He hasn't disappointed us by including cousin Elliot and all his scheming to get what he wants. I loved the book and hope he continues to give us more with a new book...

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I felt like he had a great story line that he developed and that the characters were well portrayed. I like how Elizabeth is able to change and she and Anne become friends and allies within the family. I loved the way it ended.

Kwen writes as though he has lived what he writes. His knowledge,history and discriptivness is superior. High standards is just one of his best qualities. Amazing story! Renews a person's faith in the goodness of people and the love of family's I highly recommend all. seven of his books!!!!.
