Es original por sus colores aunque yo esperaba algo mas pequeño.Se hace grande al ser tan cuadrada.Y al ser casi en su totalidad de plastico su deterioro ya sea de color o por posibles golpes sera mucho peor.

Where shall I start?Having had two Tefal Actifries, I must admit Actifry chips are much better, but Note: both Actifry cost 135.00 plus and both motors stopped working within 18 months of purchase and were too expensive to repair.Due to this I reverted back to a deep fryer.Having read a lot of reports on a wide range of different makes, how they don't cook enough chips, don't cook the chips properly and the oil overflow when entering the chips was worrying.Thinking about how new things on the market, cars, washing machines etc, they are normally good and cheep so as to get established on the market, I therefore went for it even though I had never heard of it before.Good: As it is a 2.5 litre fryer, I only put 2 litres and it's never overflowed.Good: You can see the food while it cooks.Good: The basket holds enough chips for 3 average portions.Good: The chip come out nice and crisp if spread on some kitchen towel to soak up that last little bit of oil.Good: The chips cook very quickly so if 3 portions are not enough, 3 more portions can be ready in approximately 4 minutes.Two small down sidesDown Side: The basket has no lowering action; it has to be put in by hand.Down Side: The basket handle does not fold down; it remains poking out all the time.Warning: Until you get used to using it keep a close eye on what you are cooking. It cooks faster than stated e.g.; chips take 6-11 minutes on 180.We found they take about 4 minutes on 180. This may differ according to how thick you cut the chips and whether they are frozen of fresh?I believe it with match up to any deep fryer and besides, if it lasts 18 month, it is a lot cheaper than Tefal.My opinion, it's good value for money.

This is a stunning deep fat fryer with outstanding difference to a lot of others. I had been reading the reviews and, and I know all reviews are only a guide. A lot of focus was on the lid where the vents were near the handle for lifting the lid off. I didn't experience all the dangerous heat that people were putting in their reviews, although I get the just of it. Anyway, if you put your fingers UNDER the handle away from the low heated vents, then there would be no problem. I made chips tonight at 180° and it was very simple and no fuss. I hope this clears up a few points.
