Heavenly Bodies Astrology: Deck and Hardback Guidebook (Deluxe Boxset)

I adore this deck! I am new to astrology and have tried to learn it. There are various guides around the house and notebooks with notes. However this deck puts it together for me and is a great way to learn. DO go to the author's website and download one of your birth charts from her to use. Nice, neat, and simple for the beginner. The deck with its gorgeous artwork, allows me to combine cards into what I feel is a stream of consciousness for my brain. It's like taking bite-size chunks of information and being able to stir them into my consciousness. I am a visual learner, so this process works very well for me. I don't want visual clutter though either. This deck is "just right" for learning. For those who enjoy oracles, it is a double bonus that you can use it as such. <3 The card stock *is* thick card stock. It is matte and feels beautiful in the hand. I am glad the cards are on this paper stock. It enhances the dreamy artwork so much. I would never shuffle it like a glossed tarot deck, rather I would shuffle it in the palm lightly. Truly, a gorgeous deck! Oh and I forgot to mention that the boxing is thick, sturdy, and opens and closes with a magnet. It is very thoughtfully created.

This deck is absolutely beautiful and one of my personal favorites. It’s an astrology-based deck designed to work with zodiac signs, planets, houses, and elements — and it does so in such a unique and intuitive way. The artwork is stunning, the symbolism is clear, and the whole set feels deeply inspired. The cards are made of thick, high-quality paper (not laminated), so while they aren’t flimsy, they do need a bit of care. The included hardback guidebook is equally beautiful and full of depth. Artists and astrology lovers alike will truly appreciate this one.

So, I absolutely adore this deck. Now that I've had it for a few weeks I feel comfortable reviewing it. I have used it a few times so far for personal use and for clients, and everyone really loves it. The physicality of the deck: The box it comes in is quite sturdy and fits to the size of the guidebook. Speaking of the guidebook, this guidebook is quite thorough. I'm in the process of studying astrology, and this guidebook is an excellent supplemental source to accompany that that study. It's quite comprehensive for anyone who is also in the learning process with astrology because there is so much to learn and unpack and think about. The book itself would be worth the purchase. The cards are larger than my typical oracle decks, but just by a hair and not in an obstructive way. Like, I can still handle them and shuffle them with ease. The cards are also quite hefty, so there should be ZERO complaints about cardstock in these reviews. The imagery: the imagery in these cards is very ethereal and light. It kind of reminds me of a mixture of Tay Tay's 1989 and Lover combined. Like "The Archer" plus "Clean" plus "This Love" plus "Daylight." I know it's weird to compare an entire deck to Taylor Swift songs, but I can't really articulate just how beautiful this deck is. I can say though that from what I've learned of astrology so far, each card definitely does a good job reflecting its sign or what have you. I will also add that this is my second astrology related deck, but the other one in my collection just can't even hold a candle next to this one. (I won't shame that other deck by listing it here because that's not my style.) But, this deck is definitely a keeper, definitely worth its value, and if you see the pics in the reviews or the images Amazon provides and you like them, then it may be worth a purchase because I don't think you'll be disappointed. It's just a stunning deck.

This is a beautiful astrology deck and guidebook. I can feel the love and care that went into its creation. I am a perpetual astrology student and I find this educational and inspiring. The artwork is lovely. Highly recommend.

This deck is Beautiful. From the box itself, to the hardcover book, to the cards- each are not only vastly helpful in understand Astrology, they are made to last as a learning tool for years to come. Let’s talk about the BOOK. This is the first guidebook that I have that came in hardcover. It was created as a tool to help the author based on her own notes of her study of Astrology. I too, am a note taker and the info is laid out as a study guide of sorts. I am new to Astrology, but not to tarot, numerology, and energy work, so I have a decent understanding of the concepts she covers. The deck is a perfect teaching tool for someone that is accustomed to a tarot or oracle deck. This deck makes Astrology so much more understandable than just trying to wing it as I had in the past. The card stock is wonderful. Nice and soft to the touch & wont tear easily. Even the outer box is gorgeous. Take some time to really read the deck & book from cover to cover- do NOT approach it with prior knowledge of Astrology. Just simply relax & dont waste time trying to predict her next meaning. Just enjoy where she leads you. The illustrations are stunning. I knew from the moment I opened the package, I would love it. It gives off a such soft, yet authoritative look at how Astrology works. This is a beautiful addition to my collection. If you want to learn about your journey through a reading or even a horoscope- this is your deck. I give it 10 stars.

The cards and book came in a very nice decorative box that is meant to keep everything together into the future. The cards are pretty with important identifying words on each to get you acquainted with each card. The card stock could be better, considering all the extra touches that went into the box and box wrapping. I personally just started taking the time to read the book and using the cards. The book really makes it easy to understand Astrology in a nutshell and all that goes into it step by step. The zodiac signs, how they are categorized, meanings, the planets and the energies they carry, all the things you hear readers and Astrologers use in their readings. Card spreads to use explained in the book. So much information provided. Wish I had taken the time to delve into it sooner. I would buy again and recommend this as a tool for anyone wanting to learn more about zodiac signs, how the planets, their energies, birth charts, the different houses in our birth charts explained, along with all the terms. All packaged up in a beautiful box. If you were ever interested but didn't know where to start. Start here first. It's a quick read, and gives you a quick understanding.

One of the most visually beautiful decks I've ever seen in my over twenty years of buying Tarot and Oracle cards. I have decks I much like, of Astral bodies. This particular deck is of everything I could dreamt for! It is artistically beautiful, the book is great and it has a good solid quality card stock. If you feel a pull in your heart or a catch in your breath on viewing this desk, hit the buy! That is nothing in comparison to holding and working with them! I did kind of added a cherry on top of mine, as I edged mine with a Metallic Silver marker. What can I say, just as Celestial Bodies do in the night's sky, "Shine Baby, Shine"! A side topic, that is fitting, there appears to be two camps and there really is no pleasing both. I see some people liking or loving, the "thinner than a deck of playing cards" thin card stock. On videos, they bridge their cards or corner shuffle while forcing a bend to complete the process. The other camp are people who only want substantial, good quality, solid card stock. These are not cheaply made and will last you longer. My first deck was a traditional RW back in the 1970's. The books then and up until in the early 2000's usually gave detailed methods of how to shuffle the cards. One would not think to attempt to handle them as a playing card deck in a riffle shuffling styles. One, there just wasn't a chance to give it a try, as this stock is "stock", never to bend. Two, with Tarot the cards were well cared for and namely they were revered. Seeker Decks are ever changing and to each their own. The one thing that I still see lasting is a bond between the Reader and their deck(s). If you view a deck as this, you have a wise and trusted friend, to shed a bit of light for many years. Sadly Camp One they tends to suffer the loss of many more younger friends. Light and Love to All

I am a beginner when it comes to reading oracle cards but omg this deck and book set is amazing. I had quite a bit of knowledge on astrology before owning this deck so it has been really easy for me to use. I have also learned more about astrology from my readings and the book. My readings are always spot on also. The cards and the book artwork are absolutely beautiful! I feel a strong connection to my deck, I am really happy I bought it. This deck and book set is perfect for anyone who is interested in deepening their connection to the universe!
