Sharp. well balanced and better than expected

The handle material is exceptional. It is somewhat pliable, making for a great grip. I guess time will tell whether it has longevity or not. Regardless, they were an upgrade for our kitchen. A number of other paring knives in the kitchen had hard, small handles, and blades that appear to wear down significantly. That's why I have high hopes for these, and they definitely come very sharp! I guess we'll see in due course.

They will rust. After washing, I have to scrub them with an sos pad or Comet to remove rust. I like the size and they cut well.

I have a draw of mixed kitchen knives, i prefer non serrated so i need to sharpen or hone often. I wanted to replace my set but i didn't want to replace my entire kitchen knife set only the daily use knives. These come very sharp and stay very sharp, the handles fit in your hand like a glove. I have had plenty of so called decent knives snap in my hands while cutting meat. As a knife guy these seem like they will last for a very long time. I keep a sharpening steel in my drawer and would touch up my other knives every other use to keep them sharp, but these so far rarely need to be sharpened or honed. Just hand wash and they wont dullAlso since the grips are rubberized, even wet they wont slip out of your handThey also have non symmetrical handles, as if they were custom fitted for a right handed person, but a left handed can still use.
