I've been using this stuff for about 7 or 8 years now I think. I've got a fairly substantial handlebar mustache, Which is a very expensive facial accessory. Unfortunately my stache is unruly and I've got to use an excessive amount of wax to keep it tame. This stuff cuts through the wax really well. I generally do and initial mustache wash to get the wax out, then use a small amount to clean the rest of my face and it leaves my stache feeling clean and free of wax... with a minty fresh after smell. I've never felt oily or tacky after using it. And for my bearded brethren out there, it lathers really well. It's not just for your face or beard like most of them are.

I enjoy the smell of the lotion. It’s gentleman my skin and keeps my beard and face soft for the day. It doesn’t seem oily and is an effective lotion for your beard.

Nothing about this is too much. It does what it’s supposed to with a very rich lather, not overpowering. Only leaves a very light scent with a very clean beard, which is a good option to have. It is too oily for me to use as a face wash. But great for the beard. It does clean the oils out of your beard, so using a beard oil after using this is a good idea.

It's what you're buying. It's a beard shampoo. It cleans the beard and smells good. Not much else to it. No complaints
