Interesting and unexpected scents
Scent is subjective and this set is a bit unexpected to me – but quite nice in that way. I was expecting the same old same old types of blends. But these are definitely different. The box/bottles describe the scents in this way:Dusk – (herbal) “dry spices and desert tris” (contains: ho wood, frankincense, eucalyptus, lavender)Quiet – (powdery) “powdery petals and warm tea” (contains: ylang ylang, geranium, amyris, clary sage)Nightcap – (smooth) “tart drinks and soft spice” (contains: black pepper, blood orange and ginger)Sleep – (tranquil) “fresh linens and soft florals” (contains: lavender, frankincense, ylang ylang, chamomile, vetiver)I would describe them in this way:Dusk - HEAVY on the lavender but nice – a lovely lavender-blendQuiet – Fresh - somewhat floral & somewhat herby - quite lovelyNightcap – Invigorating – strong hint of ‘smokiness’ – smells tasty and like something to eatSleep – Sweetness & Calming – almost slightly candy-like – citrus-candy. Chamomile shines through in a lovely way.So how they describe them is a bit different from how I would describe them. They still smell very lovely and different and make good use in my diffuser. I use much less than the 30 drops they say (waterless diffuser and water mist diffuser)If you found my review helpful, why not click the “helpful” button. Thanks! Enjoy your day! : )

good quality blends but this set wasn't my favorite
My favorite from this set is Dusk. I am always looking for unique blends because I can never seem to do it myself properly. This has eucalyptus in it, and the other scents blend nicely without making it smell weird. You smell the eucalyptus but also the lavender. Overall a good blend for anyone that enjoys eucalyptus but wants a slight, unique twist to it. I didn't like the other three (Quiet, Nightcap, Sleep) as much but they are by no means a bad smell. I just personally love uplifting citrus or eucalyptus/camphor scents, so tend to gravitate towards that. Quiet has almost a sweet fragrance to it, Nightcap seems to have too much pepper scent to it, and Sleep also has somewhat of a sweet hint to it.Vitruvi has great, unique blends that you don't often smell from essential oils. However, I think this particular set is lesser of my favorites because I would only consider repurchasing Dusk. Scents are such a personal thing and everyone has their favorite "groups", so I would still recommend giving this set a try. The blends are unique so it is hard to guess what they smell like but like I said if you are like me and prefer eucalyptus/citrus type scents, I would pass on this one.Just a gentle reminder never put any EO directly on your skin unless it is for topical use. These all say you must dilute (with a carrier oil) before you put it on your skin, although I still wouldn't recommend it, and since this is not food grade EO, do NOT ingest!

Quality essential oils that smell amazing
I have tried quite a few essential oils from this brand lately and have been thoroughly impressed! This particular kit, the Vitruvi Unwind Kit, is actually my favorite kit out of the other few I tried!I am obsessed with both Sleep and Dusk. Both are perfect for right before bed, or even laying in bed! I usually use one of these right before I lay down and let it go until it’s empty some time overnight. They are both divine and I can’t figure out which I like more!Quite is my least favorite, but it still smells nice! It’s got this almost stinky sock under scent in the bottle, but it doesn’t translate when it’s actually diffusing thankfully. It’s not as appealing as the other two but still a good essential oil.Nightcap is an odd one, but I still like it and burn it frequently. The blood orange and the black pepper makes it sort of uplifting, and the ginger sort of brings it all together. It’s different, and not one I would have thought I would have liked based on the ingredients. But it’s actually quite nice. What’s odd about it is everything in it points to it being an uplifting sort of scent, and on first whiff from the bottle it seams that way as well. But once you get it into a diffuser it’s really mellow and calming.Overall this is a fantastic set! While the bottles are quite small at 5ml, you actually get a lot of mileage out of them since you really do only need 1-3 drops max. I’m one to over do essential oils and use more than suggested, but even I only use 3 max or else it’s way to strong. Overall highly recommend!

Really nice, unique blends and a very good price for high-quality essential oils
I was looking for a really nice essential oil gift for a friend and this is the perfect set. They are packaged really nicely and perfectly presented as a gift in a really nice box. The bottle are glass with droppers and it seems like the essential oils are very high quality. My friend and I smelled them together and each one is really unique and special. I especially like the “Dusk” and she really like the sleep. You can use these in a diffuser, or add them to a spray bottle with filtered or distilled water for a room freshener. I even use a couple drops in a tissue and hold it close to my face to breath the wonderful, natural scents. These essential oils are made in the USA which is really important to me. I don’t like buying essential oils from overseas because I am concerned about toxicity. I believe these are very pure essential oils and a very good price for the gift box. At the time of my review each bottle in the 4-box set is only $13.50 which is an exceptional price for high-quality USA made essential oils.I really like this product and I think I am going to order a set for myself after giving these to my friend as a house warming gift. Absolutely lovely product! Highly recommended if you are looking for interesting, uniquely blended essential oils. Top notch for sure!!!
