Weaver LeatherSilent Poundo Board

Good quality, does reduce noise andBounce, but the board for sure leaves residue. I cut a slice of plywood and glued the board to it and that seems to work great.

It's working perfectly I just hate how it's stinks SOOOOOO bad of rubber...It's been outside for a week through a storm and rain and heat and still stinksWish it was thicker , my awl goes thru it too easilyWill purchase another !!

This board came as advertized and arrived quickly through the mail.I use the board to protect my kitchen table when I punch or work with leather.I am rating this 4 out of 5 stars, as the board itself has a strong smell.Also because, each time I use it, it leaves a black mark/shade on my white table (I guess I wouldn't have noticed it if my table wasn't white).I have tried washing the board itself and it did not improve the situation (it keeps on leaving a shade)I was able to wash away the shade it leaves on my table using beaching powder, but I just didn't think I'd have to use bleach powder after each usage, which is a little annoying.

only giving this 4 stars because I can't get the matt to sit flat on my table.the middle is slightly raised. when I punch the leather in the middle of the board it is just as loud as if it was on just a table.
