An interesting holder, comes with two ways to attach it to the vehicle. Since I don't like the suction cup I was very pleased to find it has an easy to use clip that does not mar the finish. it holds every device I tried with the easiest adjustments. I would purchase these for Christmas presents for anyone who uses a GPS or a back up camera. Mine is very small and I had no problem fitting it. After a few months the gripping arms failed. Might have bumped it to hard while getting into the car. Contacted company, and a replacement was shipped the same day, no questions, no hassle. Have to say very pleased with the product and the service. Will still be giving them as presents this Christmas.

There is no way to prevent the holder from pivoting from the suction cup's base, so when I make sharp turns with my car while my phone is in the holder it pivots around freely. In addition, the pads that grip your phone on the "ears" of the device and the pad that grips the back of your phone come off easily in hot weather due to the cheap glue that was used to keep them in place, if you plan on using this device holder during the summer, you're going to have a bad time. The "ears" of the device broke too, sometimes they release your phone randomly, which is very frustrating.

I have two of these phone holders which I use in my personal and work vehicles. For the price, it's hard to beat these phone holders. I use the vent clips in my personal vehicle and the suction cup in my work vehicle. The padding on my first holder came unglued, but it was simple to reapply superglue, and I haven't had any other problems. The nut that tightens the holder from circular movement loosens after a couple of weeks and has to be retightened. If you are looking for a phone holder to use your phone as a GPS device, UBER or LYFT driving, or for using as an audio player in a car, you can't beat the value of this product.

Perhaps it was my fault but I did not realize the suction cup was good for only one application. The holder which attached to the heater outlet grilles worked most of the time but occasionally it was heavy enough for the louvers on the grille to turn down, making my phone difficult to see.

Design needs to be tweaked and better materials need to be used in its construction.

This device works better than advertised. I am very pleased with the design. At first I was disappointed with the "ears" because they were pressing on the button's on the side of my phone, then by accident I discovered that the "ears" will slide up or down to clear the buttons. Very easy to change between anchor types. If you want to switch from the suction cup to the vent anchor, it's easy to swap. The only thing I found awkward was the adjusting of the "locking ring" on the back of the holder. I have big hands so it was not the easiest thing to do but it was doable.

It broke within a week. Unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to mount it until a month after I bought it so I never had the chance to return it. I tried to contact the seller & amazon to explain my situation, but I was unsuccessful.

Works fine except for the actual phone holder NOT staying on either attachment. Where it slides on there should be some pressure to keep in place. As soon as you go to touch the phone it falls off. As most phones are now TALL, I wanted to turn the phone sideways, as to not obstruct my vision, and I am unable to do that because of the previous complication. Also, after a few bumpy rides, it is necessary to retighten the pivoting knob as this becomes loose. Other than that, I do LIKE this holder and the fact that I have two different applications for mounting. The cradle has adequate space and moves easily to grab and release the phone. I do LIKE the spring action on the vent mount. It allows me to mount it to other areas such as glove boxes and CD slots as well as the various vents.
