Will these work to connect an unpowered trs 3.5mm lav mic to the xlr input of an audio mixer?

I have a Rode Go 2 setup. I put the xlr in my mixpre 6 and connected the Rode receiver with the 3.5mm and worked like a charm. Not sure about directly putting a lav mic into the xlr adapter.

Can these be opened easily? I want gut the wiring & change the 3.5mm jack to a 2.1mm for a project.

No, they can not be opened, I tried. I put it on a vise and used a pair of pliers to try to open it. It did not budge and was completely marred up. I bent the case also. Even if you could open it you don't know if the 1/8" connector is TRS, it could be TS.

do these convert phantom power to 5v?
