Q: What's the maximum weight of a car it can lift?

Surprised, and disappointed. The “xtreme “can’t (shouldn’t) even lift my truck (reg cab/8-inch bed) curb weight, much less any added resistance from gumbo mud, 6” rocks/trees/stumps, deep ruts, a ditch bank, river bank, sandbar, or the hard ledge of a hole onto dry ground. Guess I expected it to drag my buried truck w/payload up an off-road hill. As for being a “farm jack”…umm…maybe “garden.” Or any farm. Ha! Seriously, the only things smaller than a personal truck on a farm are ATV/UTVs, lawnmowers, and smallest utility tractors (or def smaller than a Workmaster 70 w/o attachments). Guess the lesson is: (1) ONLY GET STUCK ON DOWNHILL SLOPES WITH NLT 30-DEGREE DECLINES or (2) NOT INTENDED FOR V8 VEHICLES OR AGRICULTURAL OR FORESTRY EQUIPMENT. Hahaha…. :/ Glad you asked

From the bottom of the foot to the top of the I beam the overall length is exactly 58 1/8 inches.

Q: What is the maximum lift height?

It is different for every vehicle/lift/application. The Jack itself is 5 feet tall, so you should get enough lift for whatever you need. It all depends on how high your vehicle sits normally. If your jack point is 2 feet off the ground like mine, then you still have three more feet to lift (which would be way to much and would be dangerously unstable); therefore, test it in a safe environment to see how high you can get it before the jack feels unstable or the vehicle starts to wobble. The reason for it being so tall is that you can use it off road to put down in a ditch and build up the path with rocks and such. I highly recommend the off road base for that application; works like a dream. Hope this helps.
